ANNOTATE AND DRAW Use a pen, freehand highlighter, and eraser. Add rectangles, ellipses, lines, arrows, text boxes, and sticky notes. Highlight, underline, or strike through selected text. Move, resize, and delete annotations, with styling controls for supported types. Undo and redo annotation and page edits. SIGN Draw signatures and initials or type your name in a script font. Save a local signature library and reuse it across documents on that device. Drawn signatures use vector ink; typed signatures use text annotations. Signature libraries do not automatically sync between devices. ORGANIZE AND FILL Rotate, reorder, delete, and extract pages. Insert blank pages, merge another PDF, add images, or apply a watermark. Fill PDFs that already contain editable form fields. CONVERT TO PDF Convert RTF, RTFD, plain text, and HTML files. Word conversion is also available on Mac. Save the converted PDF, then open it to edit. Conversion layout depends on the source file. SAVE, EXPORT, AND SHARE Share, print, export a flattened copy, create a password-protected copy, or extract one page as its own PDF. On Mac, explicit Save updates the original, while closing an edited document offers Save a Copy, Discard Changes, or Cancel. On iPhone and iPad, documents save through the system document browser. PDFi processes documents locally. If you share a document or save it through iCloud Drive or another file provider, that transfer follows the service you choose. PDFi does not edit or reflow the original PDF text, perform OCR, or provide secure redaction. Whiteout visually covers content; underlying information may remain recoverable even in a flattened PDF.
