Helpful App but not intuitive

The app is useful for tracking ascents and serves its basic purpose well; however, its design leaves much to be desired. The layout feels cluttered and visually unappealing, making it less enjoyable to use. The layout isn’t intuitive, and it’s missing key metrics, such as total time, that would make it far more functional and comprehensive. In general the interface could be updated

Update..

I just added this app to see how it works and if I would be interested. Its not for me however it will not let me delete my account. Once you sign up and give your personal info you will not be able to delete and there isn't a contact that works. It will only allow to hide your info....UPDATE... They had a problem with their server all is good. They deleted my account no problem.

Best free tracking app hands down!

Better map layers than strava, and alltrails but free with the same ability to save maps offline, track your activities, and plan out future activities. This is the best outdoor tracking and trip planning app in my opinion!

Great app

Great app to explore and find mountains & trails! Smoke layer doesn’t currently work. But other then that, great app!

The only app I use to plan hikes

This is easily the best app on the internet for planning hikes to summits. All of the other apps are hidden behind pay walls or have paid features to make them useful. Greg and Andrew developed the website and subsequent app out of love for the mountains and sharing info openly. Many countries with topo maps are featured and the rest use Global topo, which does cost money for Andrew, so if you want to donate, please do so at peakbagger.com. I have been using the app since the day version 1.0 was sent to us beta testers and had used the website for many years before that. Peakbagger has enriched my life more than any other website could possibly hope to do.

Favorite app on my phone

This app is easy to use, very in depth, and extremely useful. I can’t recommend it enough.

Lost everything

I had over 300 trips and peaks logged and it’s all gone today. I have no idea what happened, but i can’t even get onto their website to retrieve it today. I don’t see anywhere in the app to contact support. Help!

Amazing

This is the best free app available. Period!

If you re a hiker, climber, peakbagger, new to the outdoors, or a demonstrated mountaineer, this is the app for you. Thank you to the Peakbagger team for their professionalism. This is a winner!

Essential tool for the Peakbagger

The website is incredible, and now, thanks to this app, you can it with you on your trips.

Having the ability to simultaneously log ascents on Peakbagger.com and ListsOfJohn.com is great.

Amazing!

Can’t believe this is free, so much functionality, has really added a whole new dimension to hiking and backpacking. I would pay >$100 for this. Thank you!

Great app

I love this app, i use it to keep track of my mountains and also bushwhacking. This last updating unfortunately is giving me issues on saving the peak for offline. If there is a track to download it works just fine.

Best Peak Bagger App

New to peakbagging, but this app is the best out there. A slight learning curve, but very very useful both at home and on the trail once you've learned the ins and outs. Consistently updated and great support from the developer when needed. 5-Stars

Pretty awesome so far.

Haven't delved too far into uploading info yet. But this app seems to be the best one I've tried for keeping logs on peaks climbed.

Simple

Awesome app. Does everything I need. Love the trail reports. Makes t easy to see what conditions are, especially early in the season.

Can’t live without!!!

This is the app that I have been waiting for as it puts everything in one place. So many features that a peak bagger needs are here: maps, trip reports, links to other sources for information. I love the “save the peak” setting for use when there is no access to wifi or cell service. The look and feel of the app are right in line with the website so transition is seamless. Love it, doesn’t get any better.

Everything for the summit focused hiker

This app does it all! The peak lists are great, and I love being able to download maps, view satellite shots, store tracks and easily import and save GPS tracks from others. Links to Summitpost and Lists of John too for even more functionality. I deleted my Gaia and use Peakbagger exclusively now, and its free too!
