SO GOOD
Love the app when it works. Customer service is horrible.
Latest update introduced bugs
Keep losing signal during outdoor activities
Non existent support services
I had an issue with Breathwrk, which is supposed to be included with my Peloton membership. The app crashed after a session, logged me out, and then suddenly claimed that I didn’t have a membership and tried to get me to pay for one. I contacted Peloton by email, and received an automated response telling me that the best way to get help was through live chat or by phone.
So I clicked the “Live Chat” link they provided.
It sent me straight to an AI chatbot.
There is apparently no longer a way to simply send a message to an actual human at Peloton. I’m expected to either spend who-knows-how-long sitting on the phone or fight my way through an AI bot that can’t actually resolve the problem.
This is an absolutely ridiculous customer service experience for someone who has been paying for a Peloton membership for YEARS.
I don’t expect every app to work perfectly. Things glitch. That’s life. What matters is whether a company makes it possible for paying customers to get help when something goes wrong. Peloton currently makes that unnecessarily difficult.
Ironically, I was trying to use Breathwrk to relax and manage stress. Instead, I ended up spending my time trying to figure out how to talk to a human being at the company I’m paying.
Do better, Peloton. Your longtime members deserve better customer support than an AI chatbot and a phone number.
A big app ad plus doesn’t track walls
Also, I do a lot of outdoor walking and when I add the walk to the app and comeback it doesn’t not track it. You go to the story of your workouts and said 19 secs or less but doesn’t even track the walk.
Other than that shoot up to the teachers on the app, they are awesome. The meditations are good too, wish they have more 30 min ones.
