Please release an update
It is hard to open an audiobook when it keeps taking a long to load one. This keeps happening with many books I’m trying to open.

Battery drain
I'm a bookseller that uses the app for ALC's. While I really appreciate the the accessibility something really needs to be done about the UI and the battery drain. Not only is it laggy and freezes if you fast forward or rewind. It pretty much crashes after you do that. I have also had issues where the narration slows down mid listen no matter what speed at. The most egregious thing is the battery drain though. I listen to ALCs while working and noticed my phone overheating. And the battery drains from 99% to 27% in less than 6 hrs. Checked battery usage and sure enough it was PRH Audio at 73% for 3.5 hrs which is wild when the next app that used the most battery percentage is Spotify at 18% for the same time. Please please fix it.

Please offer more than 2x speed!!!
I've not had any issues with any glitches and the user interface is easy to use. But please please please allow us to listen to faster than 2x speed! Some of us have ADHD and need the speed to be at least 2.5 so our minds don't wander!
Constant Glitches
I love having access to all of these audiobooks as a bookselling professional, and I really appreciate PRH for this app. My problem is that my app won’t stop refreshing back to the top of the page as I’m scrolling and looking at titles. For example, I’ll be browsing the “Newly Added” list and get a quarter of the way down before it automatically brings me back to the top of the list. This happens almost every single time I’m on the app, even after I’ve deleted and reloaded the app. This constant glitch is making it nearly impossible for me to browse titles. Please please fix this.

Still waiting for faster speeds…
I really, really would like to use this app. I listen at 3x speed, 2.75 if I’m slowing it down. Unfortunately, I just don’t have the time to slow all the way down to 2x when I know I could be going faster or just wait for books to hit Libby.

We encourage you to download the most recent app update (version 2.0), which includes more nuanced playback controls that allow users to adjust speed in additional increments between 0.7x and 2x speed. We’ve made note of your request for faster playback speeds as a feature for a future update.
How do i download?
I just now downloaded the app, but I’m unable to download any audiobooks.
Needs some work
Would be a great app if it didn’t keep giving me the unable to login due to security reasons message. Since it’s tied to my work email, I can’t even mess with it unless I’m in the office.
Great…with minor quibbles
Love the range of books and the quality of the audio.
Leaving the car, it will often restart in a random prior place, and I have to try to figure out where I’d got to.
App occasionally signs me out for no reason, and tonight is telling me I’ve made too many attempts to sign in (I’ve made none), so no PRH for me tonight!

Constantly logs you out
I like this app except for the fact that it logs me out every few times I use the app (I have version 2.0.2). Please consider allowing users to stay signed in.
Playback issue
Update: Still horrible. I will stop at the store and when I get back in the car, it has lost my place. Will start over from a different spot. Makes it almost impossible to
Listen to an audiobook. Any time they say they fixed the issue, they haven’t. Truly hate this app.
Love their audiobooks, well produced with some of the best narrators yet the app has one issue that really annoys me. When I stop listening for a while (even just 20 minutes) then restart the app the book goes back about 5 minutes. This usually doesn’t happen if I bookmark but otherwise I either have to relisten to about 5 minutes or try and FF to where I stopped. Otherwise the app is fine.

Be so forreal
This app is horrid. I love being able to listen to the audiobooks, but the app literally makes me want to rip my hair out. It is slow and glitchy and there have been several times it's accidentally started my audiobook over because it lags. It also constantly logs me out and makes me go through h*ll to get back in. Currently can't get into my account which is why I'm writing this review.

Custom playback speeds please!
would love to be able to have playback go beyond 2x! Most other audiobook apps have this option.
Can’t enter confirmation code.
I’m trying to set up an account. However, I can’t enter the confirmation code I’m sent because the button to do so is under the pop up number keyboard. Can you fix this?
Solid audio app
This is a pretty solid audiobook app — has all the standard features like sleep timer, quick buttons for rewind/skip, and speed adjustment. My main complaint is that the speed is capped at 2x, and I normally listen at 2.5-3x (I know, it’s fast). Also, playback resumes as soon as I open the app, which is sometimes annoying if I’m in public and haven’t gotten my headphones in yet. But otherwise, really nice so far!

Could use some updates
I’m thankful for the opportunity to be an influencer for the Penguin Random House, audio app, however, I have a few suggestions to make the app even better for fellow readers. My first suggestion would be to have other options for playback speed. I would love for the playback speed to increase beyond 2x. I would also appreciate if there was a visible percentage. also, there are times when I pause the audiobook, swipe to another app, and then when I come back to this app, it needs to completely restart. Again, I love the audiobooks on this app, but there are just some areas where this app could improve in order to make a comparable to other audiobook apps.

Offline use?
How do you use this app on an airplane? Logs you out so often and needs internet to login. Do not understand this app at all.

Near Audible Replacement
PRH has a exceptional library of audiobooks, especially good for tweens and Star Wars fans.
Really needs full CarPlay app interface.

Needs faster speeds
I really wish this app went faster than 2x. As someone who regularly listens at 3x any slower feels so slow. I wish they would update it and then I would absolutely love this app.
Fine app missing key features
This app is perfectly fine, and I really appreciate the audio quality, but it’s missing some key features. It would be nice to customize your audio speed beyond 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, and 2x. It also changes the audio speed every time the app closes, so when I go to plug it into my car for CarPlay I have to open up the speed settings because it immediately reverts to 1x speed, even though the app itself says it’s playing at 1.75x. Also, there is no progress percentage. It does seem like developers take comments and suggestions from their reviewers seriously, so hopefully these things will be figured out soon. Anyway, it’s a useable app and I’m grateful that it exists, but it can use some tweaks 😊
