Has too many ads, but worse, I’m having an issue with the app closing in the middle of the game for no reason. When I restart, the work I did on the puzzle has disappeared. Started over and it closed again. What’s up with that? Yay, fixed

I’ve downloaded nearly every crossword puzzle and I like this one best!
Crashing
I used to play 1 puzzle every day but as of yesterday you start puzzle and then it crashes. Open now works goidagain and it does same thing. Why?

Was doing this everyday but the last few days in the middle of the puzzle it quits! Unable to contact CS support!
Great App
I work all three puzzles everyday without fault. This last Sunday’s easy puzzle cannot be solved. When I try to type in the final down word (bottom left) the app crashes. There is no support link so I had to do this review.
Looking for tech support
As of August 30, 2026, App crashes when you’re nearly finished with the first puzzle. I was able to complete the next two puzzles with no problem. Today (8/31/2026) the first puzzle reverted to the 8/30 puzzle and crashed again. The other two puzzles (medium and hard) worked fine.

I paid for no ads years ago. Now as of yesterday I get ads!! Unacceptable.

For two days in a row the easy puzzle is the same and kicks me out on the word scar.

Puzzle resets after thirty seconds
I was a PAID subscriber, this morning the puzzle closes after thirty seconds and resets the puzzle. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
Daily Puzzles
ADS. Way too many and some won’t let me back into the puzzles. Deleted after years of play. Finally fed up.
Doesn't always work
The app is great when it works, but most of the time now it just gets stuck on the advertisements and you watch the ad then it does nothing which then makes you close the app and reopen it and try again and watch it again for another three minutes. Time to move onto another app.

Scam?
Downloaded the app. Every time I click on start for my supposedly daily puzzle I get an ad that I cannot get out of without closing the app. I’ve tried this now five different times with the same results. Now deleting the app.
Repetitive
Great game but I noticed a lot of the same clues in different puzzles. A change up of clues would be nice.
Ad goes on and on
Ad ran more than a minute, then no option to exit except to go to the advertised game.

I deleted this app for a while and recently reinstalled it. I like the puzzles and am enjoying them once again.
Great game
I love these crossword always played Penny Crosswords even paper copies. My game unfortunately froze so I had to uninstall then reinstall lost my game stats. I was close to 200 games. Oh well I can do it again…
