PensionForge 1.7.2 IMPROVED — a real layout for iPad • PensionForge now has a layout built for iPad instead of a stretched phone layout. In portrait you get the bottom tab bar plus a sidebar you can open and dismiss from the Menu tab, at every iPad size — previously the tab bar disappeared above phone widths and left a single header row as the only way to move around. In landscape, where there is room to spare, the sidebar stays open alongside your content the way it does on desktop, with the same page toolbar. The iPad app previously showed neither the sidebar nor the toolbar at any size. • One consistent layout, not a third one just for iPad. A page's controls now sit in the same compact bar at the top of the screen that the phone app uses, and the old title bar above it is gone. Previously iPad was the only size still showing that older arrangement. • Content now uses the width your iPad actually has. The Timeline, the Tools and Learn hubs, the scenario wizard, and the retirement summary on your dashboard all widen and add columns on a tablet instead of holding to a phone-width column with empty space on both sides. Charts scale with the space available and are capped so a wide chart no longer fills the screen. • The Timeline uses the side-by-side view in portrait too. On a 13" iPad held upright there is room for the milestone spine and the detail panel together, so selecting a milestone opens it beside the timeline instead of stacking everything into one. IMPROVED — the floating button gets out of your way • The floating button in the bottom-right corner now tucks itself away while you scroll down a page and slides back the moment you scroll up. On the results screen, where it used to sit on top of the right edge of your numbers the whole way down, you can now read straight through without anything covering the page. • It stays put near the top of a page, so a small nudge while you are still getting your bearings won't make it disappear. It also stays put while its menu is open, and it comes right back if you reach it with a keyboard. • If you have Reduce Motion turned on in your accessibility settings, the button stays exactly where it is instead of sliding around. Nothing about how your pension, DROP, or account projections are calculated has changed in this release. Every number is the same.
