Issues syncing remote
I want to love my Pergolux but I’ve been struggling with synching the remote. I’ve watched the help videos and no matter what I do, whenever I select either 1, 2, or 3, the louvers move, the lights turn on and the heater turns on. I can’t get each to align with its own number. So I always have to have the lights on when the Louvers are open, and can’t have the lights on when louvers closed.

Tracking Order sucks
Tracking the order thru “shop” is impossible. The app is not user friendly for tracking.
Doesn’t work
It only connects if I hold my phone directly under the control unit but then it’s useless because we have RGB lights but it thinks we have the white lights and it won’t even turn them on let alone adjust them

I should not have to have an app to access my pergola’s instructions. How can that be that important to you all?
App is useless for Pergola Control
The pergola is very nice. But the app only connects to it on rare occasion. I’m clearly not the only one with this issue. This smart connectivity was sold as a feature of the pergola. Please fix the app, or remove smart functionality from your marketing.

For a company this focused on quality equipment design and manufacturing. This app is essentially useless. Extremely unreliable connections. I’m forced to restart it several times before it will connect to my lights or control system.

It just doesn’t work
The louvre’s slider control, when it works at all, is hard to set to the desired position. You can be as close to as 20-30% accurate.
No idea why the color wheel is there at all. The selected color, when it works, is not even close to what the LED shows.

Consistently loses connection. It’s not usable.

Doesn’t connect
The pergola says it is connected, but it really is not. It doesn’t control the louvers or the LED lights on my sundream S3. Also I can’t get it to integrate with Alexa, even though it is a matter device.

Spent $6k on a pergola for the app to not work nor even connect to my pergola. If I could give this zero stars I would.

? Can’t create a profile. If that is so hard can’t imagine the important things on my PERGOLUX I would like to control!
Broken junk
Won’t control pergola. Spent $800 to “upgrade” to the “smart” controller. Doesn’t connect to HomeKit, the Pergolux app allows you to toggle and slide things but there’s no effect on the device. Really disheartening. I love my pergola but the remote is trash. Wanted a better solution and got more trash.

Frustratingly inconsistent in its ability to connect with the pergola. Very annoying to use in general.
Remote has poor range
Unfortunately, you have to be within 10 feet of the module in order for the control system to function correctly. Most of the time it doesn’t.
FIX YOUR APP - Great Pergola
What are you thinking? My beautiful pergola can withstand hurricane force winds but I can’t even create an account on your broken app? I need to set schedules, link it with other smart devices (as promised for the matter version I upgraded to) and figure out how to auto close for rain. These are basic functions I paid extra for, you should be ashamed of yourselves for selling features that you know don’t work. FIX YOUR APP and allow your fans that enjoy your product stop hating you for something you have the ability to correct if you made it a priority. Poor leadership at some level in this company.
