It’s great for searching information
Perplexity is fast and easy for searching Internet information. It provides where the sources are and default shortcuts for follow up questions.
Perplexity is a MUST!
I start all of my projects in Perplexity then build them in Claude. Perplexity is by far the best in research and I trust it the most out of all the LLMS.

that expires Feb 2027. Cost $200.
Perplexity keeps cutting us off insisting we buy more am out of credits.
This has happened regularly since May.
We provide proof of purchase and ID and it takes 3-4 days for them to get their act together.
Will NOT be renewing with Perplexity. Have no problems with Grok or ChatGPT.

I am so grateful for Perplexity. One subject after another, it delivers targeted and on topic information and answers. Well worth the subscription.
Best that I have used
This app is the best search app I have used. Results are fast and sources are cited.
Does very well.
Been using off and on. So far, I have not had any issues.

One of the worst AI interfaces I’ve used. Unreliable and can’t seem to adequately perform any request satisfactory. Other AI apps are better

I don’t use Perplexity for writing on my behalf BUT it’s really better than others at research & facts - getting to the “ this project is not worth following “ point so much earlier.

Worst AI I’ve used
Out of all the AI I have tried, this one is the worst. Maybe I got a bad batch or something idk. Out of the two weeks I was subscribed to the pro subscription, I don’t think it got one single task correct that I asked for. I tried over and over and it finally got deleted today. Do not recommend.

Update: The app now lags heavily, the text box doesn't open and freezes, it's just so bad. How can something so simple be so badly implemented. It's just a UI.
Typing out a prompt is so difficult with all the silly mistakes the keyboard makes. Yes I've tried stock ios, Gboard and others. Nothing works. Fix please.

Perplexity refuses to help me with Super Safetys which are 100% legal where I live! I challenge anybody to find an AI app which is not programmed Liberal! Think about it! There will come a time when AI will be the only way to search for something on the web! When that time comes AI will have total control over us! It will be what the Liberal AI approves of!
