I liked the fact that Perplexity stood apart in its service in that the tool didn't pretend to be a person and refer to itself as "I". It's becoming clear that it poses dangers to the public when people believe they're communicating with a sentient being. Let's be more honest with each other about the difference between computer programs and people.

Used the free credits and yeah it was ok. But damn it’s super moderate to the point of boredom.
Can’t turn off Perplexity “Computer”
I enjoyed using Perplexity until they implemented the new “Computer” feature. It is pervasive in the app AND in browser. Trying to use the product and now they have added a “Setup computer” dropdown that no one asked for, bordering on dark UX patterns to get people to use a feature no one asked for.

Looking for quality AI
This ai platform works very well. The web bases for info given are true sites and not made any mistakes. I paid for Pro and with in a week have had to buy credits to continue to use. Very disappointed.
Worst GPT wrapper
There is literally nothing good about this app. It does not present accurate information as advertised.
Perplexed by Perplexity’s accuracy
I regularly argue with Perplexity about it’s accuracy on political matters and it admits 90% of the time of its inaccuracy. Which is good in one sense but has me question it’s agenda and subsequent usefulness
