Unusable

Allowing people to contact me when they found my dog feels like a core feature.
However i’m unable to find how to add my wife contacts in the app. What is the point of the app then?

Microchip field error

At first, this app would only let me enter numbers, but my microchip ID has numbers and letters. Then, in another field, it let me enter numbers and letters, but said it had to be 15 characters long. My chip ID is 10 characters long. So I can’t use this app.

FAQ

What does the Pet Care, ID & GPS Tracker app do?

This app serves as a comprehensive tool for pet owners to manage their pet's identification and safety. It allows you to create unique QR tags and register microchips, making your pet easily identifiable if lost. The app also provides a centralized place to store all critical pet information and documents.

How does the app help find a lost pet?

If your pet is found, anyone with a smartphone can scan its QR tag or microchip. This action triggers real-time alerts to your phone, often including the scanner's location, allowing for a quick reunion. The app also leverages a global database for enhanced searchability.

What types of pet information can I store?

You can store unlimited pet documents, manage a detailed photo gallery, track your pet's weight, and set reminders for important events like vet visits and vaccinations. This ensures all essential pet data is organized and accessible in one convenient location.

Is the app compatible with all microchips?

The app supports registration for microchips from top brands in the US, including HomeAgain, Avid Identification Systems, 24Petwatch, AKC Reunite, PetLink, and many others. This broad compatibility ensures most microchipped pets can be registered and identified through the platform.

Is there a cost associated with using the app?

The app is free to download and use, offering features like QR tag creation and basic pet profile management. However, it does have in-app purchases, which may be required for advanced features or premium services related to microchip registration and enhanced tracking capabilities.
