App is kinda slow, VPN connection blocked
The app itself is okay, though the search engine leaves much to be desired, as in the filtering doesn’t provide great results and often provides a broad overview of your criteria. If you use a VPN, you will be logged out, which is incredibly annoying when you get notifications. Petco cares more about selling your IP address and data to further enrich the Epstein class than it does about its customers protecting their data.

App is suddenly unusable
As of the past week, the app keeps throwing an error that says, “Ruh Oh! Something went wrong, please try again later.” Tapping retry brings the same error box over and over again. It sometimes works for a few minutes, but won’t keep me logged in, won’t let me go through checkout (once it suddenly marked all the items in my cart as out of stock), and keeps making me do a slider test due to “unusual activity” detection. Updating didn’t help. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t help.

None of my purchases get saved to my phone number. The app always signs me out. Now it keeps saying “ruh oh we encountered an issue” I haven’t been able to sign in for weeks. I’m getting everything from Chewy moving forward.

The app suddenly requires a phone number to log in. Not ok. They are just trying to sell your information there is absolutely no need for this.

Good app. But listen, if I cancel an Autoship and select “I no longer have this pet” as the reason, don’t remind me that I’ve already saved $46 on the Autoship and ask me if I’m sure I want to cancel. I’m grieving. Please, for the sake of ALL your users who will one sad day find themselves clicking the same button, edit the logic to have some sensitivity.

Can never find my rewards points
Just make it simple put my rewards points right on the first page so all I have to do is open it up and click on it. Activate my points and use them. I always have to go searching through this website to find it. Makes me just not want to come to Petco anymore.
App changes
It seems as though the app has changed and I find it hard to locate my perks specifically my grooming with my stamps. I had a free grooming and I can’t find it.
This damn app
I hate this app with almost my whole being. Crashes randomly, is insistent on using my old address instead of my new one and has sent stuff there several times. Some of the slowest loading screens I’ve ever experienced, randomly logs me out or says my account doesn’t exist??? Ordering prescription food with this app is a nightmare. Every other order I make with this app causes me so. Much. Hassle. When asking for substitutes it only provides like 5 suggestions and doesn’t give you the options of anything else. Anytime I make a grooming appointment it some how was never scheduled. Not to mention everything in this store is over priced and somehow, when I went in store to purchase something I’ve been ordering online for months it was cheaper. Caring for my pet has never been more of a hassle. Begging developers to fix all these BUGS. I can’t even list them all

All apps these days deserve a 1… or less. The stupid notifications. I wouldn’t mind some, but theee days my phone just blows up with them, and I always just fill in disable it all.
My rewards subscription doesn’t show online
Talked to someone on the phone who supposedly merged two user profiles that I had inadvertently created. I still can’t see the upgraded membership that I’m paying for monthly.

Petco is one of the biggest cooperations that neglect and abuse every animal they sell from a mass animal mill.
Why is the app so bad
The app is so bad. Searching for dog food and many times with with give and error though on the website it works fine. Clunky interface.
