Love store/hate the app!
I constantly have issues with logging into the app. Frequently get the message uh-oh we are having issues, please try again later! So frustrating when trying to manage auto-ships!
Online sucks!!!
They didn’t process my order and then I had to buy full price in store and then the second day they processed my order online and also took my money!!
Auto ship
After hearing about autoship I signed up what a horrible mistake that was. First delivery date was changed twice from original date shown in the Petco app not a huge issue since I still had food for my dogs. Second delivery was scheduled for August 19th the same day I was out of food for the dogs. As I waited so did my dogs… 3pm still no delivery by 6pm no food for my dogs! I checked the tracking for my delivery now it’s showing arriving August 20th. I jump in the car and go purchase enough to get us through August 20th date. On the 20th I checked tracking NEW delivery date 8/22 WTH.
I go back to Petco and by a small bag of dog food being inconvenience again is a horrible waste of my time not considering the safety of my pets. I’m not waiting for a book to arrive, I waiting for an essential item for my dogs. Call the store asking if I can pick up the items I had already paid for? nope! So not our problem call the 877 number was their solution for my starving dogs. No results from the 877 corporate number ( leave a message and we will return your call tomorrow) I have so much to say at this moment but I want to keep this PG-13 so I will end it here. What a waste of time, energy and money since I had to buy extra food while waiting using time and gas to compensate Petco “not our problem” approach

Technical Issues
I’m trying to book a grooming appointment and it keeps saying technical issue and kicking me out. So frustrating.
The best place for my dog!!
I've been taking my dog there for about five years and I highly recommend it. From the attentive service to how happy my dog always leaves, it's wonderful. There's always a woman working there; I don't remember her name, but she has gray and white hair, and sometimes she wears a braid. She's so kind and charismatic that she makes you feel safe. I love this place and its people.

App is kinda slow, VPN connection blocked
The app itself is okay, though the search engine leaves much to be desired, as in the filtering doesn’t provide great results and often provides a broad overview of your criteria. If you use a VPN, you will be logged out, which is incredibly annoying when you get notifications. Petco cares more about selling your IP address and data to further enrich the Epstein class than it does about its customers protecting their data.

App is suddenly unusable
As of the past week, the app keeps throwing an error that says, “Ruh Oh! Something went wrong, please try again later.” Tapping retry brings the same error box over and over again. It sometimes works for a few minutes, but won’t keep me logged in, won’t let me go through checkout (once it suddenly marked all the items in my cart as out of stock), and keeps making me do a slider test due to “unusual activity” detection. Updating didn’t help. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t help.

Constant technical issues
None of my purchases get saved to my phone number. The app always signs me out. Now it keeps saying “ruh oh we encountered an issue” I haven’t been able to sign in for weeks. I’m getting everything from Chewy moving forward.

Stealing data
The app suddenly requires a phone number to log in. Not ok. They are just trying to sell your information there is absolutely no need for this.
Sensitivity, please.
Good app. But listen, if I cancel an Autoship and select “I no longer have this pet” as the reason, don’t remind me that I’ve already saved $46 on the Autoship and ask me if I’m sure I want to cancel. I’m grieving. Please, for the sake of ALL your users who will one sad day find themselves clicking the same button, edit the logic to have some sensitivity.
