No in app subscription
The app is cool but the subscription is horrible.
I’d happily subscribe if you supported Apple In-App Purchase so I could manage it with my other subscriptions. Please consider adding Apple billing.

Battery Killer with Video Enabled Feeder
If you do not close the app after using it your phone gets hot and RAPIDLY eats up stored battery charge.
Terrible time
Hasn’t been working for over a year- I have to manually work it EVERY MORNING, super frustrated can’t get it to work again!!
Too many ads
I’ve already bought your expensive equipment, why do I still need to see your endless ads EVERYTIME I need to use it?
Great fountain, app needs improvements
I love the Petlibro fountain but the app has some serious annoyances that need updating. When setting up the app, it should ask you what notifications you would like. I didn’t think it would notify me every single time my pet took a drink (I can’t think of why anyone would want that). But sure enough, after a week I had dozens of notifications on the app badge.
Figuring out notifications is also a pain because while everything else related to the device is on its own page (including notification settings), the notification list is on the main page. So adjusting notifications and reading are completely separate. And you better have that figured out soon because if you wait and end up with 180+ unread messages in the notifications section, you can only clear 20 notifications at a time.
This is just bad UX. They really need to think their way through the design because annoying apps can make the product itself annoying.

Great pet feeder
I love this pet feeder, it’s easy to use and is so useful when I go on vacation. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the useless reminders to clean it that I can’t turn off! I clean my pet feeder everyday and don’t need a reminder to clean at least every 3 days! I can see it’s dirty, duh!

It’s constantly trying to get you to purchase cloud storage. It also won’t let you log in from a separate device without logging out. So my wife and I are constantly logging in and out, which gets annoying.

DO NOT do the free trial for video cloud unless you are prepared to pay. There is no way to cancel. 👎👎👎👎👎
Missing Features
Please add the ability to delete an auto recorded log on the water fountains. When some water is spilled and not actually drank or another pet in the home gets into the water on rare occasion I’d like to be able to delete that from the water intake recorded for accuracy. This is such a small thing and I can’t believe it hasn’t been built into the software yet.

HARD attempts to upsell on subscriptions clutter the app.
Product and app work decent but the app is rendered difficult to use by the constant onslaught of attempts to upsell you into some subscription regarding pet health. I just wanted a feeder that works reliably.
Inaccurate plates
I love the actual product itself but the plates don’t line up to what it says on the app for the auto wet food dispenser. It also always skips plate 2 so I have to rotate it multiple times to get the right plate. It’s a little frustrating since I want to be sure that my cat is getting her meal which is impossible when I’m not at home and relying on an app that’s inaccurate. For such an expensive product, I feel like they should make sure it’s accurate. Hoping it’ll be fixed at a future update!

Ask you to buy a subscription after BUYING they’re device to have a scheduled feeding time. i get the convinces of being able to feed ur cat whenever ur on the road or away from home but that is just ridiculous

App shows way too many ads for a product you paid for.
Can’t connect
Even resetting successfully and hearing the ready for wifi connection, the device just wouldn’t appear, I connected successfully once and when I left it shows the device doesn’t have wifi, and then I had to redo everything, and this time it never shows up on my app, also on the official website they have this QR code scans to connect manually, on this app apparently it doesn’t.

Features are OK, but constantly signs me out
The app is useful for helping me monitor how much water my dog drinks. Unfortunately, the app automatically logs me out of my account basically every other time I open the app - very frustrating.
the app is constantly not working
I’m not really sure what’s going on with my Petlibro app but it keeps showing a Server Request Error message and I’m unable to access anything on the app. I have updated it. It’s been like this for a few months now. It’s been a little inconvenient but at least the machine still gives my dog her food. That’s the only reason I haven’t made such a big deal about it. Not sure if there’s a solution to this
