Difficult to cancel subscription
I tried their trial cloud storage, I got charged the day it ends. There was no email sent to me of a subscription and I tried cancelling thru app and only let me delete the details of purchase which made it harder to file for dispute since I have now no details of the order.
Awful Ads
The app itself is fine, not that difficult to use, connects easily to the feeder. However, every single time you press any button they advertise their subscription service. Look, I understand you have a subscription option that you want to advertise, but it should not pop up literally every two seconds. So annoying and makes the app more difficult to use.

No updates
I used to receive updates when my cat food was low. Now the app doesn’t give me any updates. I am not sure what is happening. But having a notification when the food was low is extremely helpful
Schedule doesn’t always repeat
App is buggy— even when setting the repeat schedule indicator, some days it will randomly skip
Buggy firmware updates
The most recent firmware update to the polar wet food feeders has the timers not working properly. The device will close too soon, open too late, or not open manually. Switching brands immediately.

App works fine, but the constant push for their paid service is absolutely obnoxious. So many pop ups trying to push me into their cloud service when I have an sd card installed. Let me turn those things off!!
Feeder works great.
I’ve had problems with the App & have contacted customer service but they’re not responsive. Horrible customer service for an App that isn’t worth the price!
Randomly craps out
This fountain cost a small fortune, your pet can't drink from it unless the power's on (I cannot express how SEVERE of a design flaw it is that if the power goes out and you aren't some your pet has no water), and today it randomly stopped for no reason with no app notification, nothing. And left my cat without water for 8 hours before I noticed that her water fountain had randomly stopped working. I've had this thing for a month and already have regrets. And I didn't even buy the subscription service the app full on tries to trick you into buying.

No flow settings
No option to change flow settings after initial setup.
Device is neutered to force you into a subscription.
You can’t differentiate between cats when setting up the feeding schedule without paying a subscription. And it doesn’t advertise as requiring a large monthly subscription. Predatory company

Whenever I click a tutorial to explain how to change litter mat, just get big blank screen.
Silently fails to open feeder, unacceptable
How such simple functionality fails to work is beyond me. Feeder silently failed to open without any notification or error leaving our cat without food for a day. For the love of pets please lay off the vibecoding at Petlibro HQ or hire someone competent!
Equipment Should Not Need an App to Operate
Their new equipment requires wifi and an app to dispense food. It is unbelievably inconvenient. Their old equipment dispenses food with a button. What ingenuity that was. To make matters worse, I have to login each time I use the app. Login requires I go through the wifi set up, naming the equipment, and a request that I sign up for the subscription. We are regressing as a society. They want everything to have an app and a subscription for more money when the CEO is rich and likely does nothing for the company at this point besides vote and be a face. Okay, I’m done ranting. Look for their old analog stuff.

The product itself is great, but I’m leaving 1 star because you have GOT to be kidding me with this subscription bologna. $60 a year MINIMUM?! Isn’t that why I paid $160 for the feeder?! Corporate greed is disgusting.

LOST MY INFO!!!!!
Been using the app for over a year. Forced upgrade of app logged me out. Logged in without issue.
All my pet info was GONE!!! Feeder info - GONE too!!! Support was not helpful. Data is gone!!! Have to rekey everything!!
Also app keeps nagging you to subscribe to AI features.
Going to donate to thrift store.
I am done with Petlibro!! I suggest you skip them altogether.

Why skipping meal option was removed
There was an option to skip scheduled meal in earlier versions. It seems to have been removed. Please bring it back.
Feature removal with update
The recent update removed the ability to skip specific feeds of the current day (dry food dispenser). I’m aware I can change the overall feeding schedule, but that affects every future feed at that time. Sometimes I want to cancel one dry feed and manually give wet food without permanently changing the schedule. Please add this feature back. The app is great, but removing useful features reduces its functionality. I will gladly give 5 stars if this feature is reinstated.

Did they change the UI to remove the feeding schedule from the main user interface where you now have to go to the schedule sub menu?
Can we have a schedule back where we used to be where we can make and view daily ad hoc changes without having to go into the sub menu for the schedules master?
