What's New in Petme
2.5.4
October 18, 2026
What we did this release: Opened in Turkey, Costa Rica and El Salvador. Added pet photoshoots, because your pet is clearly the star. Let sitters set their availability day by day. Added five trophies and a little celebration for every booking. Hid a few spooky things for Halloween. You'll see. What we did not change: 0% booking fees and cashback on every completed booking.

FAQ
What does Petme do?
Petme is a platform that connects pet owners with trusted pet sitters and dog walkers. It emphasizes building trust through detailed social profiles of sitters, allowing users to see who they are beyond just reviews. The app also fosters a community for pet parents and offers features for managing pet care.
How does Petme ensure sitter reliability?
All sitters and dog walkers on Petme undergo ID verification and background checks. Additionally, the app allows pet parents to explore sitters' full social profiles, providing a deeper insight into their personality and trustworthiness before booking services like dog walking, house sitting, boarding, or drop-in visits.
What are the costs associated with using Petme?
The app itself is free to download and use for finding and booking pet sitters. Pet owners will pay for the services they book, such as dog walking or boarding. For sitters, the platform has commissions as low as 10%, meaning they keep more of their earnings compared to other services.
Can I coordinate pet care with others using Petme?
Yes, Petme allows you to add family or friends as co-parents. This feature helps coordinate care by keeping everyone on the same page regarding your pet's needs, sharing access to bookings, and pet information. This ensures that important care tasks are never missed, even when you're away.
What types of pet services can I find or offer on Petme?
Pet owners can find services such as dog walking, house sitting, boarding, and drop-in visits. For those looking to offer services, Petme supports dog walking, house sitting, boarding, doggy day care, and drop-ins. Pet businesses can also create storefronts to sell products and services.
