App needs improvement
Upon logging into the app, it forces me to authenticate and inconveniently sends a passcode to my email. I’m doing this while at the pump and find it very annoying and time-consuming. It should just use facial recognition or a different method of authenticating.
Too frequently updates!
Approximately update every time when opening the app for topping up gas, very annoying.

It can’t be added to Apple Wallet. Locations on map don’t show prices. Not useful at all really.
Unusable!
What a poorly conceived app! When I pull up to the pump, it wants to send me an email (!) to confirm my identity before authorizing the transaction. This despite opening my phone with facial recognition, etc. It can take 20 minutes for my slow provider to get the email to my phone, so I give up and pay with my card. Even with the card being linked to my Petro account, I get no points! Crazy stupid.
If I didn’t need 93 octane, I wouldn’t patronize Petro-Canada. What a shame the app doesn’t deliver a good experience!

There is a bug in app . I updated my mobile no. But verification code to add new payment details to wallet is going to old mobile no
Need to login everytime
Every time I am at the gas station and wanting to pay using the app, I am logged out. I sign in with Face ID, then a two factor code is sent out to my email.
The banks apps and other gas stations apps log me in with just my Face ID, why do I need two factor authentication code every time? Why am I logged out in the first place?

Worst app ever
Makes you log in and wait for a code every time you use it. Takes longer to do that than to get the gas. Very inconvenient, especially when there’s a big lineup behind you.
Can you not pre-load my offers?
I don’t see the offers until after I’ve fueled up. I’ve missed out on a lot of rewards opportunities because you can’t pre-load offers like just about every other app does.
Also annoying I have to enter a code sent to my email every time I use the app. Adds extra time which is annoying when you’re just trying to fill up and move on.

Constant frustration
You know I keep trying this app to see when they will fix it but I get disappointed all the time. There are so many things wrong with it.
1. It makes me login every time. Every time. The login prompt won’t propose the URL root so my password filler won’t work with it.
2. When I login 2 factor authentication every time. Seriously? It’s my device can’t I say “remember my device” with a cookie?
3. I’m standing at the pump and the app is saying I’m a few hundred metres away … ok so the app isn’t great at GPS for some stations LET ME SELECT THE STATION IM CLOSEST TO but no I have to awl away from the station down the street and around to get the GPS to click in. Ugh.
4. What’s with the huge carousel of pump numbers? Put 9 big buttons on the screen so I don’t have to scroll all the way to 7. It should be one touch. You could get 12 large circles on the screen at the same time how many stations have more than 12 pumps honestly.
5. This app should work like a predefined card with my Petro points card where I can associate a credit card with it so I don’t have to do all of this other stuff. It should work just like PRESTO card where I can add it to my wallet and do one tap to get everything done all at once. No authenticate and pick a pump craziness. Open up Wallet tap the pump pay and get my petro points. Why do I need to tell it what pump to use? Why can’t I just scan or tap my Petro points card at the pump that I’m standing at and it just uses it it works for Tim Hortons. It works for Starbucks. It works for PRESTO.
I’d love to give this feedback in the app, but there’s also no way of doing that either so the only place I can put it is here hoping that developers actually read this.

The app is 100% e due to 2fa, i am logging in with face id and then bag, i need an email code. So i immediately give up on the spot and don’t use it. I am either at a register or at the pump, not entering my damn email code for no reason. What someone is going to hack me and earn me points?
Not working
I just got an email from Petro-Canada saying that my points are going to expire if I don’t use them. So I reinstalled the app to see what points I have… But all it does is tell me that the app can’t load, and to try again later. I will try a few more times before abandoning my points.

Do not waste your time with this nonsense. App does not work. Disables your password when you try to login. I’ve moved on to a gas station with an app that works

I already login using my Face ID, you don’t need to also send a code to my email to let me use the app. The other gas station apps don’t do this.
IOS. Sorry, something went wrong at our end
Two apps listed with same name but different screen pics. Both apps downloaded and installed when i took a guess at which one l wanted. Only one icon on screen. Created an account. Then got the error msg above. Tried again, uninstalled and selected other choice. Same error msg. Wasting my time here. Uninstalled. Enjoy!
