Not fit for purpose
This app is the only medium to view the pharmaceutical journal newsletters besides the website. The app is not user friendly, is the least bit interactive with no personalisation or anything to make it a good choice for reading new articles in an already difficult world of information overload. Even 1 star is too much for this day and age. Please review the feedback you receive and do something about this.

Disappointed with new version
This app used to be so user friendly and great to view previous editions etc. It was easy to use and a much more pleasurable experience. I think, in part, as it used to simulate reading a paper version. The use of the app now sadly makes it more difficult to browse a journal and there are no archives.

No PDF version
Super annoying now that you can't see the PDF version which made reading this like reading the paper version of the journal!
DIsappointing update
Very disappointed to find that what was a useful app has been destroyed. It is no longer a library of current and backdated issues, and now is the same as the website. If I wanted to have to search for content I would go to the website, even if using a tablet.
The benefit of the original app was that you could easily dip in and out of editions and flick through the content of an edition for the article you were looking for. That ability has now gone.
I will be removing the app from my iPad as it is no longer of any use to me.

Broken
Cannot log in with RPS details as the server just times out. Easier to use on chrome with the website!
One step backwards
I used to like this app as it let me view a PDF version of the journal. Now it just shows me the website. Not the best.
YOU DESTROYED THE APP!
What the hell is this backward update! The whole point was having journals in the app rather than paper version!!
Now I have to go and order paper versions again.. Because this is rubbish. Basically it is the website dressed as an app. Actually if I open safari and go to the website it is much nicer! The support for ipad 12.9 dropped as well....
Bring the previous version back, I made a mistake updating. It was good to have the journals organised from 2013, so that I could just pick one like an ACTUAL journal and read through, sometimes going back to the archives as well!
You are a professional journal not a blogger!

Truly awful app
Pages jump far too easily - this has happened for years and repeated complaints has not sorted it out. => really hard to read a long article with the page keep flicking to the next article every time you want to move the page up!
And now it just repeatedly crashes to the point it is now unusable. C'mon PJ! π€π

Crashes and closes down
Looks very promising however I cannot see content. App closes as soon as I select an area from the contents page of any journal. Same problem reported in September 2014?
Keeps crashing
After 8.1 install keeps crashing
Cannot Login
The app won't allow me to log in using my login details. I know my login details are correct because I have no problem logging into the PJ website on the safari web browser.
App no longer works
The app no longer opens after installing IOS 8.02. A message comes up saying the content cannot be downloaded. Please can this be fixed soon?
Keeps crashing
If you try to get to a page from the contents it just crashes. Please fix it. The problem seems to be on iPad and iPhone
Wifi error
Saying I have got a wifi connection problem, app unusable
Doesn't work anymore
Since the latest update, this app repeatedly flashes up that I may be connected to a wifi connection that requires a password and to check my connection (which is fine!) so doesn't work. Sad really as it was good before!
Can't use it anymore.
I think that the last update broke the app as I am now told that it can't log me in as it can't access authentication (or something similar.)
Convenient App
A convenient way to read the PJ without having to carry the hard copies around. It would be helpful if the app could save your place so that it reopened where you left off reading, like a Kindle does. It would also be helpful to be able to delete individual issues once you have finished reading them. I would also like to be able to email myself and others an article which needs further action.

Love this
Really nice app, I can read the PJ where I like without having to remember to stick it in my bag.
IN NEXT UPDATE PLEASE: A bookmark feature would be great so I can line up articles for more in depth CPD later, without having to separately note down where they are, or rip em out of my paper versions

PJ App
Excellent - readable on iPhone, great on iPad, and can read off line ...
An excellent app
I must declare a personal interest because I am a former member of The Pharmaceutical Journalβs staff, but I am so pleased with this app that I want to recommend to all British pharmacists. I have downloaded the app to both an iPhone and an iPad and it is a real pleasure to use. It is superbly constructed: navigation is a doddle and even on the iPhone it is easy to find a clearly readable version of any item in either the PJ or Clinical Pharmacist. Well done, PJ Publications!
