Bad update
The most recent update has made the app useless. The locks no longer show up and attempts to add fail. Please correct!

Useless app
I bought a door lock and installed it and the app then connected it to WiFi only to find that there is 1 thing you can do with the app and that’s generating a one time passcode. That’s it. You can see the status of the lock, or the battery level, or entry logs. Nothing, totally useless.
Terrible all
Good product but terrible software. Will constantly disconnect from WiFi. Fix this man. This is embarrassing Philips.
Breakage Since Beginning of August
Since whatever bum update, the app doesn't let my father scan the lock's code, saying
"Can't connect to server". But on mine it lets me connect to the lock but only through Bluetooth and CANNOT connect to the WiFi, which is essential if we plan to be away from home. It says “Network Connection Failed” every single time I try to connect to the WiFi. Been 2 weeks and they haven’t rolled out a new update or seem to have attempted to resolve this issue.

Useless
The app is useless at this point. After the last update I can’t see my locks, do not get notifications from the locks and can’t re-add either.
Piece of JUNK!!
This app constantly goes offline with Bluetooth and WiFi both. Literally many times per day. A TOTAL waste and an embarrassment to Phillips. Fix your damn app!!
I wish I could give this zero stars
This app was awesome when I first got the lock back in December. Then, every couple of weeks, it would unpair itself from Alexa. That was something I could handle, and really it wasn’t a huge deal. But then, about a month ago, my lock disappeared from my app, and I just keep getting the same “could not connect to server” error with no way to fix it. I’ve reset my router, deleted the app and reinstalled, contacted support with zero responses, and still it just doesn’t work.

Keeps crashing
I bought a this for the name brand. I’ve always considered Philips to be good quality. Not I’m stuck with a keyless door lock that I can’t program
Why doesn’t it work
Just since the last update 5 days ago the app stopped he bridge from being on WiFi which means the lock does not work as promised and I cannot get the bridge back on line no matter what I try! I would buy a new bridge but that’s over $80 and likely not the issue as it very much seams to be a SOFTWARE problem

Useless
Latest update messed up the app and it is now useless. Have uninstalled/reinstalled and nothing works. What is the point of smart locks that require an app - but the app no longer works?
Complete failure
I open my app to see that I lost all my devices. Everything was deleted out of the app same thing with my parents house. I no longer have any connection to my lock and I can’t even reset it because when I scan the QR code, it says server error so now I’m stuck with a brick here.
Not working
The app was working fine until a few days ago. I was logged out and had to reset my password 2 times. When I finally logged into the app, I got a “suspicious link detected” alert, and noticed my door lock was no longer showing up in the app. Tried to add it again and when I scan the QR code it says “bad url” and when I manually input the ESN/SN it says the number does not exist (I tried both).

It was good until it wasn’t
It disconnected my devices and won’t allow me to reconnect them. I’ve uninstalled the app and deleted my account and start a new account with a different email. It just keeps saying server can’t be found. Therefore making the app useless.
Lost all devices - now cannot add back
App and hardware were great. But something happened and now the app lost all devices and I cannot add back either by scanning the QR code or entering the ESN or SN of the door lock.

All of my locks disappeared…
Love the locks but hate the app. In less than 2 weeks all of my locks disappeared off the app. Can’t get help with that from anywhere. Will have to go back and re-add all of them. Frustrating!
Overall Solid
Yet I have several issues setting occasional / duration PIN codes. I’ll have them set up and go to change the time and the time won’t save so I end up deleting and creating new.

App requires immediate update for V4.16.1 - wifi bridge not functioning
The wifi bridge is non functional since latest update V4.16.1 - I’ve tried two different bridges and both disconnect with this update. Didn’t have issues prior. I ruled out it’s not an internet issue. Needs immediate fix as locks are no longer functional and is a safety concern. Please remedy asap.
Frustrating
This app does not even do the bare minimum. I can’t add pins, fingerprints or remotely lock/unlock. What is the point in getting a keypad lock if you need to use the physical key all the time.
Works With Alexa!
Yes it works with Alexa, but not the easy way. After failing to connect Alexa to Home Access, I tried a bunch of ways and I figured out one that works…
The most important part is that you have to create a log in with a password. Don’t use the Gmail or Apple links.
Once you’ve verified that the lock is connected to the app, you delete the app.
Then go to the Alexa app and search for the skill “Phillips Home access”. Click the link button, which then opens a browser window and asks you to log into Home Access. Enter the email and password you created and Alexa will start to connect itself.
Once done, download the app and log in. Boom, done!

Great Lock …
This is a great lock to have. It has a lot of features I love. However, sometimes it’s either the app or the tech in the lock itself that just glitches. They do usually push an update pretty quickly that fixes it.
