Latest update has killed the internet bridge

Latest app update has upset the internet bridge DDL203, it will no longer connect to wifi, had server error on the app when I'm trying to reconnect it. So disappointing

Not secure

Doesn’t support secure password standards. I could only create an account with a weak easy to guess password as it wouldn’t accept a complex and more secure password from my go to password manager. Not great for a service that controls access to your property!

Worthless

You cannot do anything in this all. Everything you except an app that is connected to a smart lock should be able to do, this app does not. Install this app was a waste of time.

Showing door status inaccurate

I can no longer tell if my door is unlocked or not. Uninstalled before this app unlocks my door without my knowledge. Do better these type of bugs can leave people unprotected without knowing it!

Voiceover accessbility

Lock/unlock button is not accessible.

Suggestion for scheduler

This is a really great app. Sometimes it lacks connecting to the cloud to display my lock. Other than that it works good. They really need a scheduler for away mode. That would be a really big help in Help to protect my home and yours

Enforces WiFi Password Requirements

Setup for the Philips front door lock went well, until I installed this app and tried to connect to my WiFi.

Once I picked my home WiFi I was ready to input my password. This app told me either no password or a password of 8 characters or more is required. Since when can an app dictate what my password requirements need to be for a service for which it is a consumer?!! This is not a password that Philips Home Access owns and maintains.

Likely returning the original lock if this is not addressed soon. I need WiFi connectivity for Alexa integration.

Have no idea if all of the other issues exist - as noted by other reviews. Maybe this is a sign to cut my losses while I am still in the return window on Amazon.

Wifi Requirements Seem Out of Place

For some reason, if you connect to a Philips 4200 Series Smart Lock to your Wifi (a primary goal for my use case) via this App, you have the option of connecting to a Wifi with either no password or a password between like 8 and 12 characters.

I don't get this second requirement. The App is connecting to the Wifi as a consumer and consumers don't get to dictate the password requirements of the service they are connecting to for use. I don't understand this at all and have submitted a ticket on the App.

If customer services or app support doesn't respond with a fix by the time my return window expires (July 23), I will be returning this item and trying something else.

Nice lock

The app works good and pairing was easy.

No frills app

I did not expect this app to be so bare bones.
I regret not sticking with Weiser. Only reason I doing go back is because I’ve already installed the lock

Useless

This app is basically useless. It logs you out all the time, and you usually only realize it after a period of inactivity. It throws errors every time you try to make changes, like setting up auto-lock, PINs, or fingerprints. Sometimes when you try to view a PIN code, it shows up blank even though a PIN is already set. The list goes on.

I do like being able to see whether the door is locked or unlocked and being able to control it remotely from the app, along with a few other features. But the app needs A LOT of work and always has. Unfortunately, Philips doesn’t seem motivated to fix these issues because people keep buying the locks anyway.

Non-functional

Unable to change duration of PIN code after it has been created, even though the app leads you to believe you can.

Unreliable and non-functional. Please fix.

Terrible app

Always fails on updates to codes or dates. Ramdomly deletes users. Phillips support always says to “just factory reset”

Yeah sure, just try and figure out what codes you assigned to 15 different people because the app won’t display. Yeah sure, take another 3 hours out of your day to deal with what Phillips lazy and substandard iOS developers can’t or won’t do.

Get betttr at this.

Creating an Account

2026 and Philips has issues to login with a Google account.

Truly hate this app/ lock

I honestly wish I could give it zero starts. This app/ lock has to be the absolute worst thing ever. My app never works it always says to confirm if my device is online. Then the actual lock it self never can read none of my families fingerprints. I’ve removed and had to reads some many times it works when I first add them. After a few times it says verification failed mind you we are a family of 5!! So you’re telling me that not a single fingerprint out of the 5 WORK!?!?!? SAVE YOUR MONEY !!!

Sucks

App update does allow WiFi connection

Offline

It appears offline very often and doesn’t send any notifications. Then, you have to wait until you arrive home to reconnect it to Wi-Fi again.

App log out

The app keeps logging out , hope there’s a fix soon
