I have been using this almost exclusively to edit my X2DII photos! So easy and efficient… now if only they would make this layout the same for the desktop version!

Getting Better Slowly and Steadily
Overall, I’m really liking the experience, importing photos and doing some basic editing. What stunned me is the absolute speed in which these massive medium form files get previewed, but also imported. I’m also glad to see more advanced features like masks and gradients come in recent updates, not to mention selecting people. While it’s no Lightroom with editing, the colors are absolutely amazing.

Signature editing options lacking
While creating the signature, I should be able to undo rather than reset. Once on the photo, I should be able to move it around.

General Masking
The new tool has potential…BUT…. it needs some integral AI…for example…when the sky is blown out…i was a smart mask feature to select the sky BEFORE i attempt to apply filters.
Simple Way To Edit
Great app for editing on the fly. Hasselblad files don’t need much work to begin with but the app is the perfect solution to enhancing files for social media or fast review before getting them on the computer. And it works, unlike many competitor apps
Minor tweaking requested
A fantastic mobile app to complement my x2dII. Just a minor request. Primarily a Capture One shooter, I am very accustomed to having an erasure brush and an eye dropper selection tool available for masking. Makes masking a very prolific tool. Please consider for a future update!

Need an option to import photo from external SSD
Right now the app only allows photo import from camera directly, which works fine until you run out of storage on your ipad/iphone, would be nice if we can backup the photos to an external SSD and then import the photos later in the app when we want to edit them. This feature works perfectly fine on the desktop version of Phocus, I don't get why the same thing can't be added to the mobile version.

Amazing, but could be better
Very good lil editor, I really enjoy actually how limited it is but still fairly powerful, id say my only gripes are I wish the self timer can be set on the app so I can remote take a photo with a timer (mostly for self portrait practice and playing with light) for the most part very happy with it, has the odd crash here and their but it seems to save your progress before it crashes.

Best Camera connectivity app by far.
I’ve owned many of the premium camera brands (Leica,
Fuji, Nikon, Sony) and until Hasselblad I thought WiFi connectivity that actually worked like a wired connection was a pipe dream. Not with the Phocus app. It is so blazing daft and easy to use I almost always download my photos (200MB at times) directly from camera to phone.
I have no idea how they do it. It’s almost worth buying a Hassy for the app. I’m joking of course as the camera is far too expensive for this purpose alone. Still, the experience is phenomenal.

First time user. Troublesome to connect to camera. Promising, so might try again later.
Not intuitive at all! For example, It says, 'unable to read camera files. Make sure selected directory (not DCIM) is correct'. If not DCIM, then what is it? That's all there is on the camera directory. Tries to help by saying, ‘click browse…’. But there is no ‘browse’ button anywhere. Software developers rarely if ever give it to someone unfamiliar to try and then shut up, watch and learn. This is no different.

The Phocus Mobile 2 is dependable and makes my workflow easy!
Wish to set the color of the 2026 limited watermark manually
The watermarks have both gold and dark color scheme, but we cannot set the color manually. The algorithm often puts a dark logo on a dark background, which is stupid.
