Abandonware at this point
They haven’t been able to keep up with the apple ecosphere changes, and their app is no longer fully functional. I’ve received no response from tech support emails I’ve sent, as their app no longer can play any sounds with MIDI, which I’ve confirmed on multiple devices.
Too fast
As the exercises progress to more advanced levels, the emphasis is more on speed than accuracy. The arpeggio exercises are a good example. It can be discouraging.
Could be amazing
The method seems to be solid, and this could be the best piano app out there (I tried quite a few), but there are a few wrinkles that need to be ironed out!
1. The lessons often digress in irrelevant details and stories - Josh, you seem like a very nice guy, but since you are aware of the issue (saw another review and you say it in your videos - “I digress”) - why not correct it instead?! If you were live, you can’t do much about it, but a recording can be edited!
2. No need to say who you are and how to contact you in every video - that works for podcasts or long vlogs, but when you go through short lessons one after another it becomes unnecessary and extremely annoying!
3. The app needs some updates and making it a bit more user friendly - even the upgrade/subscription button didn’t work on some pages, the “not now” button appears with the behind the scenes instruction, etc. - gives the impression of low quality and sloppy.
It’s a shame, because I am sure you lose a lot of customers due to these issues - and again, you are good at what you’re doing, with a bit of care you can take over the market!

Excelente!!!! *comparado com Simplypiano e flowkey.

Best way to learn piano via app
App could be a little quicker with fewer loading states in general, especially when clicking through the catalog or starting/ending training or play mode. Maybe add some caching.
