Selection of Key can’t be seen in dark mode

I use dark mode on my phone and am unable to select a key or chord because the selection menu is a black font with a black background. If I turn off dark mode, I can easily see the selections, but I want to use dark mode on my phone.

Thanks for letting us know. We have just fixed this. Now the selection of the key CAN be seen in dark mode. Make sure you download the latest version.

Thanks for the suggestion and it has been now been implemented. Ensure you select for bluetooth foot switch in the settings once you've downloaded the latest version.

Nice app but missing obvious things

I love the app but what if I only want to practice the chords and its inversions that are in a certain scale?

Thanks for getting in touch. You can turn this off in the Settings. We have just released an update where it will be very clear you can turn this off and it will be defaulted to false. Some users want the incorrect buzzing sound, so that's why it is there. Any other issues, let us know at info@LearnToMaster.com

Sorry but don't understand this comment. If you are a Premium user, you will not get any ads. (If you've changed your device, press the 'Restore' button to ensure you keep your Premium version) If you are using the free basic version, there are minimal ads (and always has been) to support the developers. Colors

Love everything of this app. However I would recommend to introduce a way to change the color palette. While it is immediate the difference between white and yellow highlighted keys, it is very difficult to me being able to distinguish between black and brown highlighted keys. Maybe introduce a color inversion: white to black and black to white if not possible to add a new more visible color. Thanks for the app!

Deserves way more stars

I’m learning the piano (beginner) and this app complements my other apps perfectly (I use a different app to learn how to read sheet music). The app does what its name implies: it helps you practice your scales and chords. Don’t expect anything else. I use it mostly to practice the major & minor chords of the scales I’ve learnt so far (C-G-D-A-E). As I learn new scales (working on B!), I can add them to the “chords game”. That’s a very useful exercise to me. Thank you!

I need a monthly subs to access other scales? Just make it 10 bucks and I’ll buy it. There is zero need having to pay monthly.

Best app for chords and scales

I'm a piano teacher and recommend this app for learning chords and scales. You can use as a reference and test yourself interactively. You can make your own levels, learn licks, learn songs and how to improvise.

Sorry you feel this way. Please explain why. Many users have really enjoyed learning scales and chords in this interactive simulator and we wish to know how we can improve further so everyone has a great experience.

Do you still maintain this app ?

It’s quite frustrating because the app’s features are exactly what I was looking for, however it feels old and un-updated with this UI.

If you at least update the UI so that it fits the nice new screens of the iPhone X/XS/Xr phones, you would have a chance for a 4th star and also my purchase of the “Pro” version.

But do you actually still maintain this app ? Wouldn’t be worth the investment if it dies not being updated.

Yes. We are constantly updating the app and improving it. We will look into your request for the next release...although another user very recently commented that they were really impressed with the UI and how you could change the size of the keys to match a real piano.

The advertisements can be removed by upgrading to Piano Scales & Chords Pro.

Nice app

I like it and I expect it will be a significant help in learning basic music theory so I can have fun in the process too.

(I initially had a little trouble getting the sound going but this was not the app's fault. My privacy setting was on and this muted the sound.)
