Wanted FULL ACCESS to ALL PHOTOS at install
Says only photos PRINTED get uploaded; duh, it’s not a storage service. All other photo printing apps do limited access & respect your privacy. Picta x CVS Photo will not open unless you grant the app FULL ACCESS TO ALL PHOTOS when you install it.
Total Scam DON’T USE
This isn’t the actual CVS photo app this is a scam. They up charge you for using this app. I paid on the app then had to pay in person. I can’t believe it’s allowed in the App Store. Only use the CVS health app for anything CVS related.
App and Order issues
CVS always seems to cancel my order half the time from the store. Not only this, but the app itself does not load up half the time either! A pain to get photos printed through CVS
Picta Charge
Picta is not a part of CVS and 50% of your charge is for Picta. Picta is using CVS on their app which is misleading. Use the CVS Health app and that is solely CVS.

Sweet to just go and blow in and out instead of dealing with it on site like I used too?!

Makes you apply a down payment then doesn’t load & finish your order. Took $40 and wants me to repay. Do not recommend. Scam!
Don’t Bother
My local CVS won’t even bother to print your order. Over a day later and no photos. Just go in store and do it that way. Disappointed.

3rd party scam alert!
I have used this app only twice. I paid for a photo order that was never sent to CVS, though my money was still taken. I attempted to contact Picta for a refund after my local CVS encouraged me to contact them since there was nothing they could do in their end to fix it (they even strongly encouraged I don’t use them again because I’m not the only person this has happened to!). Picta makes it difficult to contact them— no email, no number, only messaging on the app. They never got back to me after 3 attempts. Had to contest my purchase with my bank to resolve this. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM JUST USE THE CVS APP or WEBSITE!

More expensive & demands full photo access
Simply use the CVS mobile app. This one is more expensive, doesn’t offer the same CVS promo offers, and repeatedly demands full camera roll access.
