New app update is not good
How they had the previous version of the app was way better then this new version
The old app was better
The old one had more polish and consistency in layout. The UI got a huge downgrade. My desired payment option isn’t able to be saved and needing to manually enter my receipts for rewards is too much of a hassle. I had pies and perks active, but the new app has seemingly gotten rid of it.

Downgrade from a perfectly functional app
After this newest update you can no longer use Apple Pay to checkout. And only certain cards can be saved for future purchases. Meaning if I want to use the app I have to manually enter my card information each time. These are basic functions for any app in 2026 being removed.

Was told by the store the only way to get a refund from an online order is through the app. App has no way to get refund.

It doesn’t eat your coupons.
A lot of apps have problems where your coupons will disappear if you don’t use them in a specific order. Pieology is pretty good about not having that problem.
The Privacy Policy
I recently tried to use the app to order pizza, but I couldn't unless I agreed to their Privacy Policy. After looking at their Privacy Policy, which is horrendously invasive, I didn't agree. Why would I agree to give up all private information, including medical and biometric data, to a pizza company? This is not okay.

Literally WHAT??? My partner and I have been going to Blaze Pizza since forever, saw a Pieology and decided to try it..MUCH more affordable! We pay about the same for TWO pizzas here for ONE pizza there! NEVER going back! And their rewards points are actually worth it and the employees don’t tell you that you can’t use them here unlike Blaze Pizza lol. Never going back. Pieology for life.
