Worthless and dangerous

I thought I would give it this a try but within 10 minutes, I realized that not only is it worthless, it is dangerous. The AI hallucinated navigation fixes, it creates inappropriate routes, and it does not consistently pull information correctly from the POH. It does not have the capability of verbal conversation. Typing in a chat while trying to fly is impractical to say the least. Maybe one day we will get an AI that is helpful for aviation, but this one is not it.

No cancellations

Keeps charging my card after I deleted the app and won’t stop

$500 a year is pretty steep

Just get started you have to put your purchase info and start a 7 day trial that will charge on the 8th if you forget. Seems pretty steep for what’s essential a gpt model that’s connected to a couple websites and has a pretty UI

It’s literally Chat GPT trying to plan a flight

This app is dangerous. It’s Chat GPT trying to plan a flight, goes in loops (no pun intended). Might be good for a short VFR XC and pulling a weather brief that anyone can get for free online but this should be reported to the FAA

atis + atc combo is huge

being able to read the atis instead of replaying it 3 times already saves time, but combined with the atc transcription it just reduces a lot of small friction in flight.

nice combo of tools

everything in one place just makes sense

Smooth so far

No confusing setup, no clutter, just a pretty easy app to use

Fast planning

typed KDAS KAUS and got something in like seconds? Great app

Game changer in bravo airspace

Flying out of KSNA this thing is crazy. ATC transcription catches my callsign almost every time even when its messy. Way less say again moments lol

It’s actually kinda nice

I thought this would be one of those apps with a cool idea but bad execution, but it’s actually kinda nice. Easy to navigate, quick to use, and not overly complicated. That matters a lot for me.

Insane price for an unproven product

You can create your own GPT for cheaper

Helped more than I thought

I downloaded this mostly out of curiosity, but it turned out to be way more useful than I expected. The app feels straightforward and I like that I can get quick answers without digging around forever. Pretty nice to have on my phone.

Cool idea, but not ready for primetime

The idea is a good one and is impressive in pulling together information quickly, but is still makes too many mistakes to be relied on. Weather briefings doesn't find all the runways at a destination, doesn't convert METAR and TAF wind direction from True to Magnetic when computing best runway, doesn't get all the details when briefing approaches etc. If i have to check everything it tells me- it sort of defeats the purpose . Hopefully it will improve as it would be very useful.

Very hard to cancel “free trial”

Not a bad app, but be careful. It’s very easy to sign up at It for a 30 day trial and they took my credit card. But I realize it’s very hard to cancel the subscription. Beware. Other than an email there is no other way or a link to unsubscribe.

1800wxbreif

They have somehow connected it to 1800wx and when you ask if for a weather brief it pulls the official brief faster than if you went to the website yourself, logged in, and generated it yourself! Super smart, they’re doing bi weekly updates, it’s dramatically improved in just the last month. April 2026 review written

Good cọmpanion app

not replacing everything but good cọmpanion to have

Nice for weekend flying

using it on ipad in cockpit, layout is nice!

Saves time fr

I can just open it, ask and move on.

Great use of info

Been using this as a reference for now, and the AI assistant has been pretty articulate about any sort of info I need. Looked up details about magnetos and compared it to the airplane I entered in at the beginning to show me how it applies to my aircraft. Excited to see more.

Subscription

I can’t even test it out as it requires you to purchase a subscription immediately. Regardless if it’s been “battle tested” I want to see if it’s work my return of investment on trying it out. They should have a free option like chat gpt that allows you to use some basic functions so that paying customers can try it out themselves to see if they like it or not.

Also the price is way to steep in my opinion. Especially since everything is “subscription based” now a days
