Charged to download
I downloaded the app and was forced to update Payment information however it was never advised there would be a charge for installation. I was under the impression this app would be FREE.
A charge of $3.24 was pulled from the PP account I linked with no warning.

First of all it is ridiculous I have to download an app and signup to check balances. Then it can’t find my card when I have it in my hand and used it a week ago. Poor customer service by making us jump through hoops just to check a balance.

Worst app
Today was the first time I tried using the app. It wouldn’t let me register my game card. I also tried to upload my dinner receipt and it said invalid code. But somehow I got a email survey from them right after I entered it. But it isn’t showing any points and won’t let me try to enter it again.

Frustrating
Why is there a 24 hr limit to add your receipt? Also, I’ve tried to add a receipt while bowling and it says it’s too early. I don’t understand the very small window to scan receipts. Very frustrating!

I received a promo code to get the upgraded membership for $10..only there isn’t anywhere to enter the code! Also if you don’t update your phone number you won’t get the points from purchase for game card at the kiosk
Sign up process is painful
Sign up process is too arduous and when you go to enter the email code, the app resets. So I just gave up
App needs optimization badly
I like the idea. However, I logged in through Facebook and it never worked after that. The app from what I got to use seemed like a bad joke from someone who just started programming. But overall just revisit the app, optimize the issues. Afterwards I think this could be a solid idea.
Won’t let you sign up!
Every time I try, I enter the code from my email & it tells me influencer code isn’t valid. Waste of time.
Bait you $10 to create account then want $20
I got here too pinstack and decided to create an account after seeing that you would get $10 play money if you created an account. Once I created account gave them all my personal information they then said the basic version did not get you the $10 of play and that you had to sign up and give them $20 to get the premium membership that then gave you the $10 credit for the first time you go. I think this is a classic bait and switch and is horrible.

We apologize for any confusion regarding the free and paid version of the PINSTACK PERKS app. With the free version of the app, you receive 1 point for every $4 spent in addition to a $5 certificate on your birthday. The premium (paid) membership does come with additional perks, but the free version allows you to rack up points without additional cost to you. Thank you!
No point
Wrong password error everytime but when I use the exact same info on safari it’s totally fine.
Rewards
Have spent over $200 and each time I have yet been able to receive the rewards. The people that work at Pinstack have no idea.
Love this app!
I go to Pinstack all the time and have always wished they had a loyalty app. I like that I just have to scan my receipt and I get credit for what I spend. I went ahead and joined the premium membership and it literally paid for itself within a few visits. I’m a fan!
Application just doesn’t work
I purchased a rewards membership today and just learned that you have to provide your phone number in order to earn points (not clear why since you have to scan a receipt). Right after I downloaded it, I updated my profile info to add birthdays (by the way, Pinstack, why do you need my birth year in your CRM?) but I skipped the phone number because it wasn’t a required field. Now that I know I need to add it, every time I go in to modify my profile, the app crashes. I’ve restarted the application and my mobile device multiple times, but it still crashes. It’s asinine that I had to pay $20 and the most fundamental piece of the application causes it to crash. Save the time, save your money, and as an added benefit, don’t give this company your personal information.

You will not receive a bar code to scan on kiosks, but your points will be automatically awarded overnight.
