Poor! Never has any other bank not accepted a deposit if it states deposit only. Your wording policy is ridiculous and unnecessary.

My thoughts
My wife and I only started dealing with pioneer less than a year ago, but in this year the pioneer staff in Hurricane Wv have been awesome, each and every staff member will go out their way to help you, they are very kind and they treat you like you are there only customer, most places you are lucky if you can find one staff member willing to help you but at pioneer I don’t know how they have hired a whole team that are awesome, but they have managed to do it, just to tell you how I feel about pioneer, I started out just getting a personal loan from them, now I have my checkings through them, both my cars I had refinanced through them and I have a credit card through them and the reason I chose to have all of these loans through pioneer was because of there friendly staff, so on the behalf of us customers thank you pioneer

Poor customer care to fraud
Pioneer poor customer service to fraud activity when it happens I had fraud activity over the years through this bank really no support to recruit the loss of the money or any kind of solutions leaves it up to the customer to fill out the paperwork and the grunt work and 90 days get a yes or no to get the money my last recent run in with fraud February 14, 2025 someone use my debit card to flowers and a pizza from Papa John’s the lady gave me the paperwork to fill out. She said it would help me with the flowers because it was out of state. Purchase, but for the Papa John’s, it was in local town. She told me I had to file a police report and fill out the paperwork. As well as first to go to the Papa John’s. Restaurant to see if I can get a refund or get us it taken care of no luck. I should not have to play detective please work when the bank should be the one who’s doing the running and protecting customers not the customer running and worrying about recruiting any the money back? It’s not taken care of customers that’s taking advantage of customers. And a lazy BANK system.

Making payment
It would be easier if I didn’t have to transfer funds to the pioneer account and then to my loan payment. It would be better to be better to just input my banking routing and account number to make a payment.

The app does have the ability to send those transfers directly to the loan. Please feel free to message us through the app or call us for assistance with setting that up.

Awesome Credit Union. Truly awesome Staff. Had a very good experience starting out here. Manager, Mark, made me feel welcome and sincerely cared for as a human being. I really appreciated this after having felt kind of tortured from the Pandemic, and people everywhere acting in really mean ways. What a refreshing difference than to walk in here. I had been with a bank, where staff would be mean and even haughty and rude towards me, for no good reason. I guess bank jobs are “power trip” jobs to some people. Well, May God bless THEM anyway, just super glad that I stopped by here. Rates here are WAY BETTER than banks too. It’s just a refreshing feeling to feel that I, as a person, AM more important to this Credit Union than JUST my money. Thank goodness. :).

Unpredictable Performance
We have been using this app for about a year, and this is the second time we’ve had to delete it and download it again because of inconsistencies in the transaction log. The first time, I was able to see transactions that my husband could not see despite using the SAME login. He deleted and downloaded it again, and that fixed the issue.
This time, the balance kept changing, but no current transactions were visible. The latest transactions were over three weeks ago. We both deleted and downloaded the app again. When we logged in, the most recent transactions were from November of 2019.

Great CU
This is a wonderful credit union to deal with. The app is improving, but really don’t like the new transactions section of dashboard. Would love to be able to narrow that down to checking only instead of being all accounts.
