Need to split out events on same date
Pitchero is quite handy but as a user of many club apps, there is something quite annoying about this one.
When there are 2 evens on the same date, your availability status counts for both. This is unhelpful if you can’t actually make both.
For example my daughter is in multiple teams and also has training. Sometimes we can’t make one but we can make the other but I can’t make that obvious on the app. Please update it.

I hear you but that still isn’t helpful. I get told all the told that they don’t look at the comments as they are not displayed without clicking on the fixture/child and that is cumbersome to do when you need to see at a glance who is available.
When managing a team you need all the info in one place.
You could adapt the app to make it an availability per event which would solve all the issues and accommodate all needs

Hi thanks for the feedback. A lot of Clubs do find this feature useful as it captures availability for the date and they can then allocate players to fixtures and training accordingly. Users can also add comments to their availability status so they can notify coaches about their circumstances. For examples unavailable for fixture A due to travel distance but can attend fixture B
Venue address
The app needs to the functionality to include a games venue full address and a clickable venue map like Spond has. Big miss not having that.

Impossible to reset password, so clunky. No idea why clubs use this app.

Need to improve user update functionality
Should be better
Had to enter emergency contact details over and over and over. Filtered to only show one age group but resets to show all. Should default to children age groups. Too much extra info crowding out info I want to see. When are games and have they been selected. And if anything for me to do. It doesn’t. It hides info instead.

slowest app ever
just a painful app to use - takes ages to load every time- just throwing up a load of random sporting icons whilst it thinks about loading the main page. has literally wasted hours of my life all told. would advise clubs to avoid this app, and use one of the many, better sports club apps instead. Like teamo

It’s magnificent, if you want to live with your head stuck in your phone. Unfortunately the impersonality of it, detracts from any sense of community, that should be felt when being a club member.

Reliable and intuitive
Good to navigate around, very intuitive and always up to date.
Unintuitive and unusable
I’ve had to use it as a rugby coach and parent and I find this app a nightmare. Nothing I want to do is obvious. How it’s so widely used I will never know.
Broken since update
Since the update, I’m no longer able to get into the app version of Pitchero, only the desktop version. Really annoying.
Clunky
We run our club on PitcHero, it is better than doing it yourself. Has some nice features but is clunky to admin and not straightforward for users.
