Disqualified for having a disability
I was disqualified from a PitPat competitive workout despite not cheating. After I challenged it, PitPat told me their system detected an 18-second period where treadmill electrical-current readings changed because I had stepped off to get water. They also confirmed they found no evidence of intentional manipulation.
I have a disability and respiratory condition, so there may be occasions where I need to pause, take water or briefly step away. My concern is that PitPat’s automated system apparently cannot reliably distinguish legitimate behaviour from cheating, yet users can still be automatically disqualified.
I have asked PitPat to remove any false-positive flag from my account and explain what safeguards are in place for both disabled and able-bodied users. I have also asked where users are informed that treadmill electrical-current data is analysed to infer whether they are physically present on the treadmill.
If you use PitPat competitions, especially prize races, be aware that other users have also reported repeated DQs in race modes while normal walking works fine.

I enjoy using this app for my treadmill. It gives me an incentive to workout more with its many features.
I don’t think you should be forced to use this app to run on your treadmill and track calories though. And I’m also not a fan of the AI art. Not to mention the automated feedback and product pop-ups.

Force you to Download the app
You can’t use the treadmill until you download and register on their app. Probably wouldn’t have bought it if I had known. Instantly deleting this useless app that just wants you to spend more money.

If I didn’t NEED this to run my treadmill I wouldn’t have it
Ads and AI and leaderboards and subscriptions and options, it connects fine to my treadmill each time and works okay so 2 stars, but it’s just got way too much going on I just want the remote
I need help stat
I’m trying to use my treadmill. I want to use it in AI mode when I go to enter and start the program. It does not allow me to move forward because the big red confirm button is sitting on top of the last question you have to complete all the questions in order to move forward.

This app blows. It’s clunky, won’t sync to apple, and deleted all my history when I got logged out. It’s unfortunate because I do like the walk pad.
Needs major improvement!
I want to live this app. You cannot pause a walk/run. When you pause it, the app resets your workout so you lose your ranking and your time/distance/calories reset. You also cannot toggle away from the app to use another app while working out. When you try to go back to the app it stops your workout. Please fix this bug!!!

Stupid idea
This is the dumbest idea I’ve seen. I just want to use my treadmill in peace whenever I want to. Instead, I have to download the dumb app to be able to use my treadmill and for whatever reason, PitPat automatically connects me to someone else’s microphone so I can hear them working out. Why on earth would I ever want to hear that. The app doesn’t even work well either, my treadmill won’t even start even though it says it’s connected. What a frustrating experience and a waste of time.

This App is an AI Mess
I installed the app in order to get the treadmill to begin working. The app design is terrible and you cannot opt out of the AI. The app is too busy and oh-so-unnecessary. I deleted it as soon as I could after connecting Bluetooth.
Do better, yall. This looks like an app designed to entertain children.

Can't get past welcome tutorial
App is currently unusable because the next button on the welcome tutorial is offscreen. Not sure how I'm going to turn on my treadmill now.
Nobody asked for a WiFi connected treadmill
Why in gods name did you make me download this app to walk at my home office? It assaults you with nonsense features, unnecessary tutorials, and some gimmick about an extended warranty if you input information they already have. Just make the warranty the warranty. I would pay MORE money for a walking pad that had no association with this overengineered piece of garbage app.

Absolutely NO JUST NO
Come on guys! I know there are ppl around the world at all hours but some how, though I’m in zero groups or have connections to ANYONE on the app, I was getting a mass group chat bombardment about running and who needed recovery and their vitamin intake IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. Over n over n OVER until I, half awake, scrambled to uninstall just to get some damn sleep! There is ZERO reason those conversations should be pushed to me. Least of all in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!!!!

JUST WANT TO USE MY TREADMILL
I don’t want to sign ip for an app. I don’t want to connect my treadmill to wifi. I don’t want an AI assistant, or a monthly subscription, or any of this other junk. I just want to use the Treadmill I already paid for. What BS.

Recent update
Recent update has made my walking pad very frustrating to use. Changing the speed of the pad is now clunky due to app redesign, forcing game like features instead of acting like a simple remote control for walking pad.

Bought walking pad which needed the app. App reports warranty still active yet they refuse to help. Terrible customer service!

So dumb
Don’t use this app- it’s so dumb. Every time I walk on it during work (I purchased to put her my desk) after I’m done the app says it detects cheating and invalidates my session. I’m certainly not cheating and walking on the treadmill the whole time.
