Yikes

From bad to worse. That’s really the only way to describe this update. Somehow, the new version manages to be even more confusing than the last one, which is honestly impressive given how poor the UI already was. The navigation is so unintuitive that you practically need a map and a compass just to find your way around.

That said, I have to give credit where it’s due: the app now saves your cart when you inevitably misinterpret the layout and back out of the wrong screen. It’s not exactly progress, but at least it spares you from starting over completely after the app has already wasted your time.

Overall, this update feels like a masterclass in how to deliver terrible results with a single redeeming feature thrown in. Stars?

not good

this app used to be good but something happened. i’ve removed and added back with no success. when selecting toppings it forces option you didn’t select and causes you to do everything twice to get it right. the title bar intersects half the screen. it’s just a bad update or poor maintenance. i despise using it. also there is no option to freeform instructions like “do not cut”

App needs serious help

Love Pizza Luce. The UI with their app to make a simple order is terrible and impossible quite frankly.

Doesn’t work on safari

For anyone on an apple phone this app will not work since it’s a webview app and iPhones use safari for this type of app and the css is broken for safari. I am forced to order using chrome web app on my phone instead of using the app which would be much more convenient. It has been this way for many months I was hoping a simple css fix would have been fixed by now. Basically the header floats when it shouldn’t and the bottom buttons get hidden so its not possible to order on safari.

Unable to find the ‘add to cart’ option

Worst design ever. Why not make it simple for everyone and put a simple button to click for add to cart than the floating button. I selected my pizza and toppings and changed but couldn’t find ‘add to cart’ I tried in both iPhone and Android and it was not there. I tried on the laptop and it floats. Fire your product manager and VP of product for poor customer experience and usability. Build better app and website for ordering and make customer job easier

App Needs Autofill and Needs to Save address

The lack of autofill in any of the text fields is very tedious. On top of that if you enter in your credit card information wrong, the text box grays out and you can just simply edit the wrong digit. You have to exit the whole window and start again. I have created an account to try and avoid all of this but no matter how many times I try to save my address and payment information, it’s never there the next time I log in and try to use it. The warning about auto fill potentially not working “in my browser” is just confusing when I’m in the app itself?

Broken

Broken app. Does anyone care? Do you not want us to order food from your restaurants? It seems like it.

Poor app experience

I love the food! They have a creative menu and speedy delivery. The app however? Glitchy, slow, and not intuitive. It’s honestly a miracle I ever get through an order using their app. I have recently changed to using the website instead of the app and have found a more more user friendly experience. I do not recommend the app unless you are a gluten for punishment, in which case app away!

Glitching in July

Usually this app runs like a dream. When selecting toppings to edit, it will select the wrong thing. Then once you have it personalized there is no way to.

Salute to Major Pain

This app has on multiple occasions deterred me from fulfilling a craving for Pizza Luce pizza. The navigation is almost unmanageable. When receiving promotional mailers, the codes never work. Great healthy eating initiative feature! How about adding a screen time limit limiter and triple down? I hope the next version just has the screen blank out so you can’t do anything. It would be a slight change from where things are now. Keep it up! Do you offer Brawndo yet? It has electrolytes.

The app is literally broken.

I love Pizza Luce but this app has not been updated in years, maybe a decade. It just seems lazy at this point.

Another crappy pizza restaurant app

Pizza Luce=great. The app? Not so much. It’s just buggy, glitchy trash. Just like the Sarpino’s app and the Davanni’s app. I’m pretty sure they’re all made by the same developers who obviously just slap something together and call it a day.

No way to redeem rewards in app

There’s no way to redeem rewards from loyalty points in the app, which is pretty disappointing.

It works...

The app does work. And I’m grateful for that. The app is also not intuitive and will often send you back to square 1 if you aren’t carefully using the correct “back” arrow. New updates were made to create a more aesthetically pleasing look, but no updates were made for user friendly functioning.

Easier to just use their website

Buggy login, often have to re-enter it multiple times. Drops anything you’ve ordered if you get a call or have to switch apps. No ApplePay integration.

Love Luce, but their app makes you work for it a bit more than it should.

A Few Bugs

I love Pizza Luce. The app is okay and has a lot of features for managing your account, but I found a couple bugs while trying to make a simple order.

1. The character limit for delivery instructions appears to be 600, but the app won’t let you input more than 20.
2. I signed into the app, and then a couple minutes later, when I was ready to checkout, I had to sign in again.

It would also be nice to have the tracking feature within the app.

Delicious and convenient

This app is simple to use and the service provided by Pizza Luce is amazing.

Thank you for making this app

I love that this existing and I can both support my local favorite and support my work from home lunch plan.

Apple doesn't load on login, great pizza though

Needs some work. Bonus star for food, but the app is essentially worthless and does not load.
