PLACES: Where to Work

Somewhere good to work, not just somewhere good to drink coffee. PLACES helps you find cafés, libraries, hotel spaces and other places where you can actually sit down with a laptop and get some work done. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO • Whether laptops are welcome — and any rules that apply • Wi-Fi, sockets and noise • How long you can stay • Laptop-free periods, table limits and minimum spends • Opening hours and walking distance WE DON'T GUESS PLACES shows where its information came from. Details checked by us, published by a venue and reported by visitors are kept distinct. If we don't know something, we'll tell you: Not checked yet. THE WORK SCORE Every place gets a Work Score out of 100 based on how suitable it is for getting real work done. The score cannot be bought. Paid or featured placement never changes it. BROWSE WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Explore every place, search, open the map and read the full details without an account. Sign in when you want directions, to save a place, add a photograph or suggest a correction. BUILT WITH THE PEOPLE WHO USE THESE PLACES Been somewhere? Share what it was like to work from. You can also correct outdated information or contribute a photograph. Places you add, photos and visits earn Stamps. PLACES PRO (OPTIONAL) Everything above is free.
