I regularly make appointments at Dessange in France when I visit
- I had no choice but put a French cell number which I can’t use reliably
- I cannot change to my non French cell number
- they send confirmation texts only to that cell number
- you cannot pick email communication for confirmation
- they seem to cancel silently appointments when not confirmed
- you don’t even see cancelled or to confirm appointments in your account
I end up booking appointments that disappear without anyone knowing. Such an inconvenience

Can’t verify US phone numbers
You cannot register unless you provide a phone number. The phone number has to be verified with SMS. Great. However, it will not actually send sms to us based phone numbers or voip. You should have the options to verify by email which you are not given.
