Not intuitive to use
I found this app at the end of an article I enjoyed. We have a vibrant collection of birds and plants where we live and hoped this app would add to that enjoyment. So far I’m somewhat disappointed with what it says about my recent pics. It doesn’t agree with what the iPhone camera ids and seems to lean towards European fauna rather than North American. The controls in the app are confusing at the start and it’s not clear how to begin to use my pics.

Can’t create an account
Could be a good app I suppose. But whoever designed it made it impossible to create a new account by email. You just can’t click the button to create the account. It astounds me that someone is paid for this and no testing takes place to see if it actually works.

Clean Design, Great Features
Love the layout—simple, fast, and not overloaded with junk. I've already got too many collections. I wish there was a search feature for the collections area please consider adding that

I downloaded EarthSnap on a whim and didn’t expect much, but now I’m totally hooked. I use it in my backyard, on walks, showed my mom last weekend. I’ve never paid this much attention to nature before, now i feel stupid because Earth is amazing

teaching tool?
I'm a teacher and i'm thinking about using this for my class when school starts back up in august. is this accurate enough for teaching school class? It works great for me but i want to be sure it's good enough for the classroom
The wrong animal
I saw a Canada goose and I took a picture of it.it showed a deer and not a Canada goose.i took a picture of a bee and it said it was a black flower…..
Great App
EarthSnap has quickly become one of my favorite apps. The image recognition is impressively accurate, and I love how it connects to a larger community of nature lovers. I’ve discovered so much more about the world around me thanks to this app!

Not accurate at all
I tried to identify what type of snake I had caught and it came back with everything but a snake, I use many different pictures that were clear and some would come back saying it was a earthworm, scallop or a mussel.. I don’t think a snake looks anything like a sea scallop but that’s just my personal opinion.

Solid App
Love the concept, my kids enjoy walking around on hikes and figuring out what plants are what and what animal that was. It has helped us get out in nature more.

Why does it have to have a subscription
I don’t like the subscription. But you can add a price to buy the app but not a subscription but yet it looks like a great app
Not worth a subscription
I rarely if ever use this app at all, I only recently came back to check one thing only to find out you now need a subscription to actually use it at all, and it’s not a cheap subscription either, I’m not paying 6 dollars a month for an app i occasionally use. It’s just not worth it, there isn’t even like a free version with ads like come on

Nice but some glitches
This app is really good but for some reason I am glitching,I can’t snap anymore it dosn’t let me. And at random times it kicks me out the app and plus I snapped a simple dog and it said a fly and cats.
