So…

Not sure how this app has soo many good reviews. I’ve taken pictures of caterpillars and this app says its a common house ant. Really? Ive taken pictures of spiders and it has said it’s a moth. Pretty unreliable. It is a free app tho, so at least you dont waste money on it

I have had a few different animal, insect and plant identifier apps over the past 5 years or so and this one this app is great.. for comic relief!! I took a picture of three newborn baby rabbits just to gain some extra knowledge on them. The image came back as american toads. I then took a closer shot from about 3 inches away and it only reached a much… MUCH wilder level of high strange crazy and returned with a identifier of HUMAN! Three baby rabbits… HUMANS?!?!? From a few inches away??? Thats where I draw the line..

App has lost ability to correctly identify plants.

Great But Unreliable

I scan things fairly often, and some things tend to just be wrong. To prove this theory with something I knew for certain I used my Mexican Red Leg Tarantula (her name is ollie) in which the app said was a Bold Jumping Spider
