One of the last Mags out there & still crushing it
I truly do love Play, the app is easy to use and the magazine steps up to the plate where every other mag has failed. I genuinely appreciate their efforts with the magazine and the app.

Extremely Slow
App is extremely slow to load, new magazines don’t always appear, just disappointing all round.

Takes your money without delivering
Was really been to try this app, and subscribed. However, it didn’t unlock the magazine to download. So I clicked ‘read’ and it still prompted me to pay £3.99. Eventually, after trying to get it to work, I paid the one-off price and it still doesn’t allow me to download the magazine.
Just avoid it and save your cash.

No support from company
I signed up to a 1 year digital subscription for this but when I tried to open a magazine through the app I kept getting error messages. To this day I have contacted them 11 times and have never had a reply.
Temporamental
It’s very good, when it works. I subscribe and about 50% of the time i log in when a new mag is released and it asks me to pay £3.99 for the mag. I contact them and am told it’s a known issue and will be sorted soon. This means i often get my mags a week or more late. Eventually i’ll get it, next month is fine on day 1, next month it asks for £3.99 again!! Frustrating!!! 😡😡😡

Great value for your money!
Opm is a great magazine still to this day. The writers are talented and even whe. you have issues like editions that never show up, the staff still ensured I got those copies digitally. So it is obvious they care ab each customer. I will continue to renew my subscription and recommend it to anyone interested!

Subscription broken, no access to issues
One star review may get someone’s attention. You never know... Email doesn’t work - just autoresponders saying mailbox closed! My subscription stopped working and I can’t get the latest issue. Followed all published steps to reset and log in again - now I can’t even read older issues! Web site says I have a subscription AND I still received the latest dead tree issue (which I don’t really want any more tbh, but I guess it reminds me to go and read the new digital edition).

Not optimised for iPad Pro large screen
Decent magazine but sadly not optimised for iPad Pro large screen (doesn't take advantage of the extra pixels). Magazine also has wasted space for the padding on the top, bottom and sides. Wish it was cropped more (or at least an option).
So outdated
This app is so outdated and needs an updates to meet the requirements of the current ios devices such as iPhone x and beyond.
Fun and Easy
Reading on a standard iPad Pro (not the large screen). Easy to use and navigate. No issues with downloads and reading offline.
Fun and interactive
At the time of writing I've just renewed my subscription after taking 3 years away (part of the cuts I had to undertake for university), and the first feature that struck me was the integrated videos and image galleries, many digital magazines don't have these and as this magazine is centred around technology it really feels like it connects with its genre. Secondly, it's just fun to look at. Forget the words, the first bite is with the eye and the vibrant colours and beautiful layout make this a joy to scroll through. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, is the content itself. In the three years I've been away from the magazine there has been some new writing staff (I think....I may have just forgotten who writes for them) but the writers I do remember their style is comfortable like hot chocolate and an old pair of slippers. The new staff bring the same superb quality which is easy to read, insightful, and entertaining. I'd happily give (and have re-upped to give) £2.99 a month to have this digital magazine a part of my downtime.

Unbelievably frustrating
As my title suggests this is by far and away the worst interface to a magazine I have ever encountered. I download a single issue I missed and when I try to read it I keep getting a list of the editions I've missed and am continuously bombarded with requests to join the subscription plan. No!! Sod off! I won't be buying your magazine again I'll just google the information I need it's far more helpful, free and above all else, intuitive.

Brilliant magazine if you are looking for new games that you are not sure off
This magazine has really good game reviews and only really points of the positives of games while giving an overall review counting the negatives near the end. however, due to the fact that it is an official magazine I will warn you that some of the reviews can be slightly biased.
Note: Even if you own a PS3 and not a PS4, this mag is still really good because, it covers all the platforms in a good amount of detail.
Use the trial if you are not sure and 2.99 a month is a great deal BTW, the printed versions are really spendy due to the discs etc..

If your a PS Fan.
Maybe I'm new-old school haha who prefers a magazine, well e-mag or whatever it's called that's besides the point! This is better than platforms like Gamespot etc so definitely recommend :D
