Won’t load

It worked for a while but now it won’t load at all so I am missing communications from the club and team.

Cant update fields

Horrible app, you can update the fields and set up a new location update date an event changes the whole schedule due to weather. Horrible app of you cant use the mobile app to make changes on the spot

Meant for club use not player/family friendly

**newest gripe-my iPad shows a continuous notification, logged in and out, went through emails and chats more than once, deleting old emails or non-important emails, rotated iPad and did all the above again, finally deleted the app but was hoping a year later things would be working well, nope, same problem again, constant notification. Same texting issue, bounces around, small box, this is 100% for clubs NOT players and families**Been using this app since March. From a parent stand point it is a big nope from me. Constantly reloading, logged out, when I click ‘view all’ under the calendar it takes me back to day one…lots of scrolling and clicking around. I see why clubs use this, it’s a one stop shop for them, I get that. Messaging or chatting needs revamping, the box is small, once you type a sentence or two you have to scroll up to read it from the top, why can’t the box continue to enlarge as I type?? Seems really outdated. Then I can’t tell if people get the actual message unless they respond, after sending the message it looks like it didn’t send, I then have to shut down the app and reopen it to see if the message sent. I was my daughters team manager last season and that was so SO annoying. Put a thumbs up option for sent messages please and fix the box. I like that I can see the entire day, I see uniform color, time, field number, any notes typed in…that is sweet for sure! I like that I can filter the app to show JUST one schedule instead of 3 mixed together. In the end this app is glitchy and more work than other apps we have used. Clubs will love this app! FYI-playmetrics support staff is OUTSTANDING, many people had trouble creating accounts, I would have to defer them to the support link, everyone that used them had great things to say, I used them once and the issue was resolved fast.

Frustrating notifications

When you get several notifications and open the app to read all messages, the notifications still remain on the phone, so you need to manually clear them every time. Also, within the app, no matter if you read all chat conversations and all messages on the inbox, you always get a badge saying there are new messages. Finally, when opening a phone notification, it only opens the one message, if you close it, it closes the whole app

Fan opinion needed

Need to add a function to allow fans or other family to share game schedules. GameChanger app has this feature and it nice not to have to do double work by adding grandma’s and grandpa‘s to extra calendar invite separately or listing them out in text messages. They’re also notified if game details change.

iPhone interface issues

Overall a decent app, but consistently the functionality and interface doesn’t work well on phone app. An example- you frequently can’t see what you’re typing on iPhone but it’s fine on iPad app version. Just doesn’t seem to have proper software for phone use. And a recent update made it worse. Small but easily fixed item…when you’re using the Calendar on future events, every time you close that future entry it goes back to the current date so then you have scroll back down to future items if you have multiple things to enter. All that said, it’s the best of the team management apps I’ve used. 4 stars if you would fix all the mobile issues.

Notification Suggestion

The app makers should add a notification feature that allows you to turn off notifications related to messages from other parents sent to the group chat while keeping notifications on for messages from the coach. I have missed important coach notifications because I’m bombarded with notifications about messages from parents.

Worst management software ever

PlayMetrics looks polished, but the experience has been extremely unreliable. Funds continue to be collected while access to payouts is unclear or delayed—creating real risk for any organization managing payroll and operations.

Customer support is essentially nonexistent. There’s no phone support, only email, and responses can take 48+ hours if you’re lucky. On top of that, we were assigned a random admin unfamiliar with our account, making even basic issues difficult to resolve.

If your business depends on consistent cash flow and responsive support, this is not a platform you can rely on.

Crashes and won’t allow setting attendance day of event

This crashes more than Tiger Woods.

TeamSnap is better

No roster, no team chat horrible set up

Font size

Can you please put the font back to normal. Stuff doesn’t even fit on the screen.

TeamSnap is better

This app consistently kicks you off on your phone and you need to log back in. Interface is not user-friendly. The chat feature Is clumsy and not quick to use. My team went from TeamSnap to this, and I wish we could go back to TeamSnap. This app needs major improvement in many areas. Please get better.

Font size

It’s a good app. It just needs the ability to make the font bigger for us older parents who don’t have the eye site we used to. Please give us the ability to make the font bigger or zoom in.

Worst and worst with time

Constants bugs, issues with sending messages, freeze screens. It was better before now it is going downhill…

No log out

No dedicated log out

Has authentication problems

The app itself is decent. My main gripe with the iOS app is that it frequently has session authentication problems. As a user I shouldn’t constantly see these auth errors for invalid sessions and timeouts. Just update all of that behind the scenes please.

Clunky

I like having my kids soccer information, group chats, schedules, etc in one place.
I wish there were some changes.
1. Notifications show up in multiple places. I do not need a Notification Center in the app. It is redundant. The chat/email is plenty but looking through that and having a Notification Center is completely unnecessary and frustrating when you have notifications multiple times for one small thing.
2. I will click a notification on my phone and it opens the app to the last place I was in the app. For example, I get a chat notification for one child and I open it. It goes to a different chat for another team and it doesn’t automatically refresh that page. You have to close the app and then open, go to the home page and then go and figure out what chat you had a notification in. It is as user friendly as an 2015 era app.
3. Nothing automatically refreshes. You constantly have to go to the home screen and often close the app to get it to refresh.
4. This is the slowest app I use regularly.

I would love updates to make this app user friendly. I do love having all our family soccer information one place but this app is very low functioning in 2025.

Firebase errors everywhere

Can you please fix the firebase auth API errors and add a close button to the internal browser or just remove the internal browser, people need to kill the app just to exit the integrated browser that has no features at all. Very buggy app. Can see how you convinced so many clubs to use your bugggggggy app.

Very slow

Every time you open the app it takes an eternity to load. I counted three separate loading animations before the content actually loaded. I dread opening the app.
