Severe Performance Issues Requiring Urgent Attention

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the app’s performance. Nearly every interaction, from tapping a button to navigating to a new page, is followed by an abnormally long loading screen.
Given that my network connection is stable and fast, this indicates a potential deep-rooted issue in the app’s code or server infrastructure. The user experience is, frankly, infuriating. While I do not typically leave reviews, the subpar quality of this experience has compelled me to provide feedback. For a company of your stature, this level of quality is unacceptable. I urge your development team to investigate and resolve these performance bottlenecks as a matter of urgency.

Non functional

I’ve never bothered to rate an app before but feel compelled to because of how awful this one is. Literally have to click buttons several times over the course of 5+ mins to make things work, half the add to cart buttons don’t work, won’t accept address, won’t let me update delivery time… have almost thrown my phone across the room several times in rage. It’s 2024. Do better.

Only received 30% of items ordered…

It’s a Friday afternoon. You’re exhausted from caring for two young children by yourself and the house is a mess. You’re low on supplies and don’t have the energy to go shopping. Oh, wait.. you don’t have to! You were smart. You ordered from Park n Shop two days earlier and the delivery is due today!

The delivery arrives, joy! It must be packed pretty tight because you’re pretty sure you ordered more than that. They hand you the receipt and cold reality sets in. More than half of the items have been crossed off from the list. Everyday items like nappies, toilet paper, tissues and pasta became out of stock AFTER you paid for them 2 days earlier. You’re just finding out about this now, no emails, no nothing…

It’s ok you tell yourself, surely the other items are coming in another delivery. You check the receipt. You’ve been refunded for the missing items?? But… you don't want a refund… you want your toilet paper. You’ve been waiting days and you’re down to the last roll! They even said they delivered the berocca but it’s definitely not in the box T_T

Surely this is a mistake. You pick up the phone and dial the number on the receipt. You patiently progress through the menu and queue while your 2 year old is drawing on the walls. The phone rings, a voice on the other end tells you that customer support is only available during business hours on weekdays. You submit an enquiry on your order through the app. There aren’t any options for “half my order was cancelled without notification”. All you can do it wait and hope…

… or maybe you should just vote with your feet and not bother with Park n Shop ever again. You don’t have time to deal with unreliable and unaccountable behaviour.

From bad to worse

Rubbish app. Always been slow. Then after updating went all white. Had to remove and reinstall. Even worse, can’t input discount code now. I had to add the discount code on the webpage. Is it really so difficult to hire a proper IT company to do the job?

Rubbish app, no star rating

Absolutely rubbish. And they have even just done an update. CS for the e-shop is also sub-par. If I hadn’t purchased cash vouchers, I would have gone to a different company. This deserves no star.

Find a professional to write your app

I’ve tried so many times to sign up and sign in this app, it’s pretty much impossible. It’s just very annoying. I’ve tried to change my password and it was supposed to be successful. However I was unable to login. I think you should reply via my email address to ensure it’s a proper sign up.

Worst ever - need update almost daily

This is the worst app ever. Need to update almost every time I use it. And each update is as slow and buggy as the last. Super slow too and often crash. Just the worst website. You would think LKS can find the best web developers in hk. But no….. I hate this app.

Terrible Design

The app has appalling design. Search is so illogical at best, and at worst is pointless.
The developers should be banned from submitting further apps on the app store until they become qualified to do so.

App just got intolerable!

How is it possible to create an ‘updated’ app that is so much worse than the original!
Not user friendly viewing at all - last one was better (marginally). Won’t save my ‘likes’ information. Won’t process payment. No reply from customer service. Do yourselves a favour and don’t bother.

Terrible app but with so little competition no pressure for them to improve it

-Hard to find items.
-Shows in stock when you put in your cart but when you go to pay tells you it’s out of stock and you need to go back and search again
-even you delete items from your cart they magically reappear later
-slow to process credit cards. uses an external processor? who does that these days?
-doesn’t give you the option to refuse some “free” items that just end up in the garbage. I don’t want a free plush toy for buying two pcs of soymilk

The new marketplace app is much better but some items can only be found at P&S unfortunately.

Such a pain to use

1) ages to load and edit cart
2) painstakingly fill cart and then during checkout, it will say the items are out of stock, please remove from cart. System obviously knows there’s no stock, but it will NOT show you it’s out of stock until you are halfway through clicking checkout. And it’s so difficult to remove and proceed. AND the out of stock items are STILL available to be browsed and add back in AGAIN- just CANNOT checkout.
3) mysterious disappearance of my MoneyBack points. How can it be NEGATIVE hundreds of points- I owe them points?!? Whhhat?? And customer service doesn’t respond to my enquiry on that. Of cos not. Why should they?? What’s the point of providing service??

The worst ordering app

It’s terrible doesn’t let u order new items it’s. Waste of time

Will never buy from ParknShop again!

Delivered two of the small, and light items (2 broccoli, 3 bananas) out of an order of three products, missing my 12 oranges, this is the whole reason for me to order online)!

Customer service claimed that the product was out of stock, and even claimed to have sent a “ghost” email to me about the situation. They should at least confirm with me before making the delivery. The delivery charge is way over the costs of my two smaller items.

PnS’s complete lack of customer service, jot taking any responsibility to address this. So before you place any orderwith ParknShop, beware that you may not get your things and you will be charged for those unnecessary delivery charge!

It’s really stupid that it keeps jumping back and forth between MoneyBack and it’s own app, no matter how I tried to login. When I click to use money back app to login , it just go to a page that ask you to download the app. The app just won’t log me in even after I reset my password . No CS contacts for problem solving as well.
