Changing voices to ai generated voice mid way through a series😡
I thought this was great when I first downloaded the app I really enjoyed some of the stories but changing the deploying ai generated voices and not being able to revert back has completely ruined the experience and made the series I have been listening too unbearable I might not have minded if I started the series with an AI generated voice but to n change the whole series to AI generated voices and not having the option to revert back is unacceptable for this I will deleted the app and just read the series instead. The voice is flat boring and there is no reason to change it when the whole series had been made with voice actors already. And there is no way to contact the app maker direct through the app because they know they have disappointed many listeners and will now loose many customers because of this short sighted decision to save money from production and increase money from selling coin. It’s a bad decision and in the long term will hurt them

If you’re going to pay $20-$50 a day to listen to a book this is for you.
You didn’t get about four or five free episodes of a day, and then if you’re willing to watch 81 minute and 30 second ads for one free episode, this is for you.
The books so far from all I know only about vampire system is a very good book. You can tell that it was written by like ChatGPT or AI. And then edited before it produced.
Hence, why they can have over
2000 episodes. So ..technically it’s a legal scam. 😭😂
So overall, you get one out of five stars for deceiving people. One out of five stars because you wanna have us watch eight almost 2 minute ads just for one free six minute episode.

So far, I’m still loving the app. They went as far as to change it from eight ads for one free episode to four ads for one free episode.
For me as a longtime customer that is more than fair. I have been paying lots of money for a ton of episodes, but I’ve also been doing the little gigs. They have on the side that’s free and it earns you free coins every day. Save up those coins and at the end of the week you can listen to like a few more episodes like two or three more episodes. It’s really awesome. Loving the updates. The ad is moving quick, yeah sometimes you get a ad that’s 120 seconds but most times it’s only like 60 seconds long. And they give you the option to skip some of them. So you can’t be mad at all.
definitely raising this to a four star!!!!

Whenever you reach season finale. You no longer get any free episodes every day. For Almost I don’t know how many episodes but it’s a whole lot of them. You have to pay for every single episode. So on season finale you no longer get free episodes. But I guess this is their way of switching it from eight ads for one free episodes down to four ads for one free episode but now you gotta pay for all the finale episodes. At the end of the day I guess it’s just all about Money 💰.

I can never finish stories because the app says Free episodes paused. I have 3 hours of unlocked episodes to listen to before it’s unlocked. I keep listening to the same episodes over and over and it keep saying the same thing.

I’ve started watching wolves of the blood moon and I’m really enjoying it but I have gotten to a point where there is no longer any images or videos to go along with the audio and I’m really annoyed as I have spent a lot of money to get to this point!

This app is nothing but AI slop for people which can only be enjoyed by people so stupid they think Twilight is too emotionally and intellectually challenging.
Also, this is the first review I’ve ever done for any app, and is completely inspired by the dumb but apparently inescapable ads for this godawful abomination of an app on YouTube no matter how many times I ban the exact same ad, so my solution is to review it as negatively as possible (I would happily give it a negative 4 quadrillion rating just so the average comes down to something that vaguely resembles how awful this is) and hope others follow suit.
With any luck, the company behind it will go bankrupt.

Coin Reward issues!!! Watch out folks!
Have been using the app for some time. Recently completed tasks to earn coin rewards. I received the rewards only for them to be rescinded some days after saying they were given in error. Numerous attempts to reach the team have proven unsuccessful. I have even left screenshots showing the sequence of events to no avail. I’ve been ghosted by the support team. I have bought coins in the past but won’t be doing that anymore.

It’s nice but could be better
I originally downloaded to listen to to a series with visuals, almost half way through the story there are no visuals but each episode still cost 9 coins. Also, I would much rather pay a subscription than to continuously have to buy coins it almost feels like robbery especially since the visuals after a while will go away and/or are inconsistent. Another thing is I’ve noticed that people are complaining about the same-thing but nothing has been done about it.

I’m sorry I like this app and have been using it for a while now but I’m not going to watch ads/commercials!! I can watch are still photos and listen when I can visually see images of the subject. I don’t even complain when there are still photos and not videos but I won’t be watching any longer and will find something else. I am very disappointed!!

It’s one thing to make us wait everyday to unlock more episodes that’s whatever. It’s another thing entirely to cut off the free episode unlocks. You all know what your doing stoping unlocks so then when someone catches up they’ll hopefully be so hooked they spend an arm and a leg unlocking more. Yall greedy and don’t seem to care for user affordability.

If you pay for credits forget it because after that they won’t give you free episodes time would never reset and it’s so easy to send you to but credits but to exit the page it’s not the page keeps crashing and can get out if you complain they would make so frustrating to the point you just want to let it go
