I have been studying for 2 days and i already can say that this app is beyond my expectations. Thank you so much for doing this: free, no adds and great quality. I am a native Spanish speaker that lives in London and love languages. I have been watching Thai series for a few weeks and I am planning to go on holidays to Thailand in 2 months and this app has been very useful and easy to follow, in addition of the explanations that encourage you all the time and reminds you that it’s ok to be confused, or feeling that it’s too much, but that it will get better.

Great App
This app has been phenomenal for learning to read and pronunciation! It breaks down the lessons into short digestible chapters and allows you to practice and repeat the quizzes easily for repetition. So grateful to have this as a resource!

I started using this as a compliment to my group Thai classes I am taking in Thailand. It has basically taught me everything I needed to know about reading Thai. This by far the best material I’ve found. And trust me I have looked!! The content is free, however I paid for it because I was so THANKFUL!!

Easy to follow, great app!

Needs Some Tweeks
Some of the features to slide right to next page or moving the answers to the correct box isn’t working well. It would also be nice if there was a way to bookmark where to last left off instead it takes you back to the main page each time.

I’m an older learner. My learning style with learning a new language is to understand the basics first- being able to read the language first helps with my understanding of the language later. Memorizing phrases first does not work for me.
Pocket Thai Master gives an excellent foundation in mastering written Thai first and serves as a good stepping stone for further proficiency.

Great for beginners
This pocket Thai master app succeeded my expectations. It provides clear explanations on Thai reading and grammar from English that make logical sense. The lessons are broken down well to help facilitate memorization and practice through quizzes.
Sound error that can hopefully be fixed
I’ve just started this app and I’m enjoying it, but the problem I have with it is that after so many times pressing on a particular sound (to re-listen and understand it), I go on to click other sounds for other consonants and vowels and the sound doesn’t show up. I have to constantly get out of the app and re-do my lesson to make it work again. The problem only works temporarily though before I have to do the same process over again. I appreciate the app though but I don’t know how to fix that error.

It is amazing to learn Thai that way! You get some info about the language itself and start from scratch. First I thought: what is this ? How shall I ever recognise? Learning with some practice, repetition and ambition every chapter sums up and gives a full image of the language and made me understand it so much better ! Thank you

Brilliant
Love this app.. informative and challenging. You can only move forward through the units once you have completed the short quizzes at the end if each unit, so you can be sure you are retaining the information. It’s no walk in the park though, which is good really, you need to be slightly challenged in order to progress, but it’s not to the point of throwing in the towel and running for the hills. Learning how to read Thai is (to me) imperative in learning how to pronounce Thai words correctly and with tonal languages, it’s really important to be able to be understood properly. It’s very tempting to ignore that part of it, but personally I wouldn’t skip it … try it 🤗 it’s a really good app for all round knowledge 🤩
