Great car let down by poor software
The car is great, it’s just let down by minor but multiple software bugs that could so easily be resolved
Digital key
The connection and recognition of my phone and settings is extremely disappointing. On 80% of times it doesn’t recognise me and sets as a guest!
It’s been long enough…
App is slow and so sensitive. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has reduced my charge limit without realizing it because my thumb was near the button on the app. Of course the car itself takes a while to wake up and decide to do things you ask of it, so who knows how much is the app or the car. Hoping the new chip really is the saviour it’s promised to be.

Application improvement request
I would love to see the Polestar2 get the ability to adjust the temperature during in-app climate control and also steering wheel, seats heating control just like the Polestar4

Basic and Logs out often
Both the car and the app log me out so often it’s unreal! Like it’s a car, I don’t sell and buy every few weeks! Basic functionality compared to Tesla but it works. I think of Polestar as if an old man designed an electric car :)

Background battery drain
Latest update really disappointing as the apps background activity is draining my battery so phone not lasting 12 hours on a charge. Tried turning off background app refresh but still draining the battery of my phone.
Best car I’ve ever owned
Great car better than expected. This was a first time purchase for EV car and I could not be happier. This was a single engine Polestar and it has lots of power and long range. I’ve taken it on multiple trips and easy to charge and easy to operate. Very stylish and great quality.
solid bit missing some functionality
Clean and easy to use bit would be noce of it didn’t crash so much. Also a tail gate feature for PS2 wold be nice

The worst car ever
Key function doesn’t work
The phone as a key function doesn’t work majority of the time. Have to have the car and unlock it for the car to realise the phone is in the car to start
Usually good
This is a very simple app. But can be effective for controlling basic vehicle functions. However, sometimes it seems to time-out, and you simply have to deliberately open/awaken the app in order for it to communicate with the car. There was one time that I simply was not able to get it to communicate and I had to alter my plans and come back a couple hours later where magically it worked once again.

The app is great, remote key function is amazing. Should add the ability to open and close the power tailgate
Extra charge schedule
Great App, I would, however, like to have the ability to set more than one charging schedule, similar to the climate timer.

Great App. Please allow us to set the temp on the car from the App rather than have it set to 22.
Comfy, Quick, Quirky
After 4 years with a Tesla Y, I welcomed the improved comfort but miss the tesla software. Hungry handles, lacking air con and basic app. Rear video mirror is better.
Why can’t I control climate through the app
I have a polestar 2 and all I can do is remotely set the climate control to 22 degrees. Why can’t I change the climate temperature from the app?
