This program accompanied me throughout my baby’s first year and a large part of my pregnancy. As a first-time mom dealing with a complicated pregnancy, I often felt lost and misunderstood. Such an amazing platform
This app has been a lifeline during my vulnerable and emotionally challenging prenatal and postpartum period. I feel so incredibly supported and grateful for all the wonderful and professional Pomelo providers and the resources offered here. Having people check in on me regularly and be able to chat at any time is such a gift. I’ve been able to see a specialist in minutes virtually when it would typically take weeks to get an appointment with my regular irl providers. It’s been great for asking advice on how to approach certain issues with my regular providers and feel equipped to advocate for myself. They’ve also helped me find additional services local to me which is helpful when I don’t have the mental bandwidth to do that kinda research. I could go on!

A blessing!
I have always had a hard time going to doctors offices and seeing doctors in general, I guess you could call it white coat syndrome. I was absolutely NOT looking forward to having phone calls/text messages/etc. from doctors just whenever. But let me tell you, they have been a BLESSING! They are so quick to answer any and all questions, from “is Kombucha safe to drink while breastfeeding?” to managing mastitis before it becomes necessary to treat with medication! The lactation consultants are so kind, and willing to troubleshoot, and give tips and tricks and just listen to you if you need to. I cried for a whole 10 minutes with my very first lactation consultation, and by the end, we had a game plan in place, and I felt that somebody understood my situation and was on my side that actually knew what I was dealing with! I have not met one uncaring individual the entire time! Everyone treats you with respect and care! They truly want you to do well and support you through all that you’re going through. They make you feel like you matter and they treat you that way too! This entire company is such a blessing!

What an amazing service for Moms!
I cannot recommend this enough! I had a high risk pregnancy, and I wouldn’t have had the knowledge I had without pomelo. I told them my symptoms and they responded quickly with their recommendations! With their help and kindness, I was able to have an easy (enough) pregnancy. Thank you Pomelo and my care team for being there for me during my most vulnerable time! Whether it was a random question at 3am or a therapy session, they were always there for me.

Fantastic - wish this has always been available
I absolutely love having a care team available 24/7 and have utilized it so much from my 9 month pregnant mark to now being just over 6 weeks with my newborn. For everything from questions about me to questions about baby, having a nurse practitioner or other staff available has been a breath of relief when either those end of term concerns or newborn panic moments occur even going into the middle of the nights. I love how many different people are able to help whether it be a lactation consultant or a pediatrician or even staff for myself as an adult. This seriously is something I wish was here 9 years ago when I had my first baby and panic ran to the ER more than once.

Feels like I have someone to talk to for once
I’ve never been so close to somebody considering this is only an app tell them everything I’m going through and they help me out with everything my own doctor and some friends I’m really lucky to have these people that I can talk they have answers for me. I’m so glad to have this app.

I wish the providers on the pomelo team were local! I’ve never experienced such wonderful care from everyone I’ve crossed paths with, they continuously check in on you, never forget follow ups and are extremely thorough! If your insurance covers this wonderful group I highly recommend taking full advantage!

I cannot say enough good things about this service. You’re given access from your pregnancy until a year after you give birth, and I cried when my time was up. That’s how supported I felt. It was hands down the most useful resource I had after my baby was born. The nurses are always available, and I had the best mental health counselor for me. The lactation consultant was a beautiful person inside and out. I really felt like I was wholeheartedly supported by every person I came into contact with. Truly difficult to express how grateful I am for what was given to me by these wonderful women.

I had a very positive experience with Kamesha an OB provider at Pamelo Care, my video call appointment. The doctor was professional, attentive, and took the time to listen carefully to all of my concerns. They explained everything clearly and made sure I understood my symptoms and treatment options. I didn’t feel rushed at all, which made the consultation comfortable and reassuring.

Absolutely Amazing service
I was very unsure of what to think or feel when being asked to download this app and receive services. Every team member is knowledgeable, kind, prompt and informative. As a new mom after 17 years and being older so much has changed. The providers and professionals make asking questions easy and getting what you need even easier. We don’t always want to make an appointment or call nurses lines and wait days for responses, pomelo is right there a text away. I absolutely love it and my care team!

Pomelo is a godsend!
I’m so glad to have Pomelo Care through my pregnancy and postpartum care! They have been better, expensive, and more responsive/approachable that any other care I received. They meet all your needs timely and completely from nurses, midwives, lactation, pediatric, psychiatric care- I’ve yet to have an experience they can’t help me with. Their advice literally helped saved my life when I was not being entirely heard from my in patient care. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have them partner with me on my health well-being!

I love them. All the doctors are amazing and very helpful. From the Obs, pediatricians, lactation consultants. They are all amazing and helpful. When I got a mastitis and it got worse overnight the ob got on the call in the middle of the night to look and help me. It I we’ve have any questions they are very quick to respond and help. I couldn’t thank them enough!!

Awesome resource
I wish I had this care when I had my first baby! My care team is super personable and responsive. It’s nice having someone to talk to about concerning symptoms or to just honestly rant to about pregnancy! This app would have eased so much anxiety as a first time mom. I can’t wait to have a readily available team this time around while in the trenches of postpartum.
