I didn’t realize Pomelo would be coming with the insurance I have and they have quite frankly been such a great support and resource for this pregnancy. My Pomelo care team literally save my life! Following my C-Section I continued to decline, extreme pain that increased every day, high fevers, pale complexion and sweating. All were written off by my OB as flash fevers and pain brushed off as a long labor. My Pomelo care team were the ones who didn’t ignore the red flags and caught my infection way before my OB did which allowed me to be on the look out for warning signs and seek medical attention for an infection that was laying in wait that caused me to become septic in a matter of days following my C-Section, doctors said even hours later would’ve killed me. I truly feel as if without my care team through Pomelo I might not have noticed until it was too late. Because of my care team I am still here to help raise both my daughters

Such an amazing platform
This app has been a lifeline during my vulnerable and emotionally challenging prenatal and postpartum period. I feel so incredibly supported and grateful for all the wonderful and professional Pomelo providers and the resources offered here. Having people check in on me regularly and be able to chat at any time is such a gift. I’ve been able to see a specialist in minutes virtually when it would typically take weeks to get an appointment with my regular irl providers. It’s been great for asking advice on how to approach certain issues with my regular providers and feel equipped to advocate for myself. They’ve also helped me find additional services local to me which is helpful when I don’t have the mental bandwidth to do that kinda research. I could go on!
