Nice free app to start

Text should say “Stay focused for XX minutes” with “for XX minutes” on second line. Support for light, dark, clear, and tinted app icon modes would be most appreciated. Current fixed light color app sticks out like a sore thumb. Multi-color blended backgrounds (like Streaks app) and custom images for backgrounds with simple image controls such as brightness would be nice to have.

Does what you need without BS

This does pretty much everything you’d need a timer app to do without unnecessary feature bloat or in app purchases. The UI is simple and easy to use; the app keeps track of, and lets you change the number of cycles until a long break; you can change the duration of the cycles and breaks; and you can change/disable the alarm sound.

The only thing’s I might recommend adding are a check-list feature and the ability to see the timer on the lock screen. Though, even without those I’d still recommend the app.

So close to great

The app is wonderfully lightweight and minimal. Unfortunately the timer sound mimics an analog kitchen timer and is very unpleasant. The two changes I would love to see would be:
1. Make the timer sound customizable
2. Change the color of the timer when it shifts from work to break time
