About

Postea is a mindful pause for the gaps in your day. Between meetings. Waiting for coffee. The minute before bed. Postea notices the moment, then offers one small thing — a breath, a passage, a puzzle, a person to text. You do it. Then you're done. No feed. No streak. No nudges to come back. One thing, sized to the gap, then done. — SEVEN KINDS OF MOMENTS — • Sit — guided breaths, body scans, and quiet pauses. Logs to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. • Read — short passages from public-domain writers. Marcus Aurelius, Rilke, Lao Tzu, Tagore, Thoreau, Whitman, and more. • Reach — a nudge to message someone you haven't talked to in a while. • Learn — an untranslatable word from somewhere in the world. Saudade, Komorebi, Hiraeth, Wabi-sabi. • Solve — a small logic puzzle. Reveal the solution when you're ready. • Make — a one-minute creative prompt. A haiku, a sketch, a six-word story. • Notice — a brief attention exercise. Look up. Listen. Find what's already there. — HOW IT WORKS — Open Postea and tap the wordmark. You get one offering, sized to the time you have. Or — with permission — Postea reads your calendar to find real openings between events and surfaces an offering only when there's an actual gap. Never during meetings. Never while you're moving. You'll never see a feed, a streak counter, a stack of choices, or a reward animation. Just one thing. Do it, dismiss it, or shuffle to a different one. — THOUSANDS OF OFFERINGS, NEVER REPEATING — Postea ships with over 2,500 curated and procedurally-generated offerings — meditations, public-domain literary passages, classic logic puzzles with computed solutions, attention exercises, and creative prompts. Read content stays curated. Solve puzzles always have correct answers. You won't see the same Learn word twice. — WRITING TOOLS, LIVE ACTIVITIES, WIDGETS — • Compose Reach messages with Apple Writing Tools (iOS 18+). Proofread and rewrite a quick hello before you send. • Sit sessions appear as Live Activities on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, with a real-time countdown. • Home Screen widget shows your next offering at a glance. • Apple Health integration writes completed Sit sessions as Mindful Minutes. • iOS Focus Filter: limit Postea to specific categories during work hours. • VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, and Reduce Transparency fully supported. — PRIVACY THAT IS ACTUALLY PRIVATE — Postea has no servers. No analytics. No accounts. Calendar, motion, contacts, and location data are read on-device and never leave it. The only data that syncs across your devices is your settings — via your private iCloud, never to us. — A NOTE ON THE NAME — Postea is Latin for "afterward." The app is named after the moment that comes after the moment you were just in. The breath you didn't take. The minute you weren't sure what to do with. Now you have something for it.

What's New in Postea

A quieter, sturdier Postea. — Read aloud. Tap the small play icon on a Read offering to hear the passage. On‑device, mixes with music, respects your headphones. — Live Activity. Sit timers now appear on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. — Reach is friendlier. "Send via Messages" pre‑addresses your contact, so you can write your one line and send. — The Lock Screen widget clears the moment an offering expires, so it never lingers past its welcome. — Sensitivity actually does something now. Rarely / Sometimes / Often genuinely shape how willing Postea is to suggest a moment. — VoiceOver and Reduce Motion polish across every offering — cleaner labels, calmer transitions. — Privacy: a Reach offering on the Lock Screen no longer shows the contact's name. It just says "Someone you know." Inside the app, the name is right where you'd expect it. — Many small fixes: kinder accessibility on settings, better keyboard handling in compose, audio routing that respects your AirPods, more graceful behavior under limited contact access. Postea stays local. No data leaves your device.
