Minor bug fixes and Improvements

User reviews

Bad App/Good Magazine

I was able to access my digital subscription once this year, but then started receiving error messages that there was an issue with my subscription and to contact customer service. I tried deleting and downloading the app again. That didn’t help. I contacted customer service and they told me to delete the app, sign out of my Apple account on my iPad, sign back in, and then download the app. That wiped out the entire years worth of issue. What a waste of money. ☹️

Items available on web but not the app

The latest update requires a network connection. Unable to read while offline. Please fix issues!

The ceramics yearbook and all past issues are not available on this app. While ceramics monthly shows all past issues.

This year, the ceramics yearbook is pay on the app. Yet free with ICAN membership.

A little disappointed that things are not consistent, between PMI and CM.

Great magazine, very buggy app

I love the magazine, but after every iOS update, I have to delete the app and reinstall. Annoying! Fix the app!

This magazine deserved a five stars

This is the real deal, the legitimate source to getting your pottery experience up from the basic to advance by using the techniques you get through the process supplied by professionals who gives you the hints on how to create your own pottery. There are photos in clear details with specific techniques you can use to get to the level of expertise you need to showcase through your work. Tools are provided in greater details and you will never have to miss every opportunity when you start your subscription because all of the information are provided when you sign up with the most reliable source, provided by the American Ceramic Society that publishes Ceramic Monthly and Pottery Illustrated, two of the best and well detailed magazines. I have found the digital edition to be very reliable and well-sourced. I will always rely on both Ceramic Monthly and Pottery Illustrated to get all of the information I need in order to be a successful potter.

Update on problem with Downloading the newest issue

I’ve subscribed for a year , and it has been wonderful to use the app and carry it anywhere to read. Now the newest issue won’t download, so I figured my subscription is up and renewed it, but it still won’t download. There was no notification about why it won’t download. I’ve written to the publisher, but I hope between the tech support for iTunes app and the publisher, something can be worked out. I haven’t had problem with other publications I subscribed on my iPad before.

Update: A few days later, I deleted the app then download again. This time the newest issue became available. Therefore, I changed the rating from 3 to 4 stars. It’s hard to find my way back when I go to the sale and advertisement section in the back of each issues. That’s the reason for 4 stars. Otherwise, I enjoy the digital section very much. It’s got beautiful images and easy to use. Please keep up the good work!
