Trouble syncing data from fitbit to this app
Flaws, bugs and so many issues!
No automatic activity tracking
Motivation in the palm of your hand
Good in theory, but glitchy
I use this app regularly and it does an okay job, but it isn’t intuitive to use and so it takes a little bit of time to figure out how to use it. It’s also inconsistent in recording my workouts. There have been multiple times that I’ve exceeded the needed amount of active calories and/or exceeded the amount of time needed at 60% max heart rate and didn’t receive credit for my workout.
Still junk
It’s terrible
Some health data not syncing
Still Terrible
Truly terrible.
Limited connection options
Heart rate tracking no longer works with recent update!
Historically, I earned 10 points for sustaining 60% of my maximum heart rate for 30 minutes and 15 points for 45 minutes. However, the recent update seems to have abandoned heart rate tracking and now only recognizes active calories and step count. Despite tracking all my workouts on my Apple Watch and syncing all my data through the health app, the app fails to accurately recognize my sustained heart rate.
The consequence of this issue is that if my workouts don’t meet the threshold for active calories or steps but do meet the threshold for sustained heart rate, the app downgrades the points it awards based on active calories or steps. As a result, most of my workouts that used to qualify for 10 or 15 points now only award 5 points for a light workout or 10 points for a standard workout.
For instance, I completed a 45-minute workout with a sustained heart rate well over 60% of my maximum heart rate. I should have been awarded 15 points, but the app only awarded me 10 points based on the amount of active calories burned. Similarly, I also completed another 30-minute workout with a sustained heart rate well over 60% of my maximum heart rate. I should have been awarded 10 points, but the app only awarded me 5 points.
This issue has been going on since one of the recent updates about a month ago and will make it much more difficult for me to qualify for my employers wellness credit. Please fix the bug to read sustained heart rate properly again.
Terribly glitchy
Good in theory, but glitchy
Really inconsistent syncing
Unfortunately, it can never get above a 3 star in my opinion because of how poor and inconsistent its activity syncing is.
Frequently, I will work out and never receive the points. This can be very frustrating as I am always looking for a certain number of points per month to pay for the device provided through the program. Since I don’t have time to workout every day- every workout is important to accomplish this goal. When it doesn’t sync it literally can cost me money.
Also, it’s incredibly frustrating that it doesn’t take into account total number of minutes worked out during a day. Studies show that smaller workouts each day can be just as effective as one long one. However, I could get 80 total exercise minutes in 10 or 20 minute sessions, and not get ANY points simply because it’s not one total workout. (Not that it would matter, since the time spent work g out probably wouldn’t sync anyway).
The gist is- I shouldn’t have to delete, reload and resync this app 2-3 times each month just to get it to do what it purports to do in the first place. There should be a confidence that my workouts will always count.
