Cool concept but the app is a mess

Theres no order to which you can learn things, you have to jump from one skill like graphic design to another like UI. Nothing’s in order. The questions lowkey make no sense, it doesn’t hurt to elaborate. For an app that’s teaching you about UI, the UI is lowkey terrible. This could be a great concept but the overall execution is sloppy.

What happened to Offline?

Before the update I really enjoyed learning and a key feature was being able to learn while on the go but now that I try i have to be connected? Please fix this as considering the UX design principles I learned from the app it creates friction for the user

Loving this!!!

Honestly such a cool app! I took a UX course a while back and doing these little quizzes with Powero has been a great refresher!! The cards are beautifully designed (I wish I could see info on the illustrators who created them), and the way it’s all gamified makes me want to keep playing and learning!

Looking forward to seeing how the team expands this app experience!

(And just so you know, I NEVER write app reviews but I just loved this so much I really felt compelled to today! ahaha)

Pretty, useful, confusing

Very fun and pretty app. I've completed several cards and will continue to use. There are really only two glaring issues; there are glaring grammatical errors. At first I thought it was a character limit issue, now I'm convinced it's an AI oversight (research the CEO/Company to learn more). The second major issue is you can't read the recaps/summaries before the quiz effectively making the quiz a guessing game and the recaps useless as you've already achieved the goal by the time it's available. Those fixes would make this a 9/10 app.

Interesting Idea

This is a good app! Cards and learning works out. And the art is great. I just wish there was more to it than just the quizzes. I still like it and will be sticking around. Great job

cute concept!

love the trading card idea. the cards are all beautiful and i’m so happy that you had real artists make them, even for the AI topics. i think the courses themselves leave something to be desired—it would be fun to have something fun and interactive where you have to interact with the text in order to advance? something fun and slidey.
i also think the card pack opening animation could feel more fluid. i like how the PTCG app adds little imperfections and rumble that make it feel like you’re actually opening a card pack :)
overall i think this is a fun concept and i’m excited to see how it evolves! i’m glad i got an ad for it on IG!

Okay so Far

I like the idea behind it, it keeps you wanting to learn more, however the wording of the questions feels like they we’re purposefully made shorter in order to fit correctly on the mobile screen with their specific point size. This makes reading and trying to answer the questions difficult sometimes because context gets lost when too many sentences and words are shortened or abbreviated.

I would like to see more sets on visual design principles with questions having images included rather than just vocabulary words. I see a ‘coming soon’ section with color as an option for a set so I’m hoping more visual focused questions will be in those.

I appreciate the choice to not participate in the AI set of learning experiences as I do not feel the use of generative AI in design is beneficial at this point in time.

Overall, solid idea. I was able to complete two packs of cards for my first day. Beyond that, you get one pack free every 24 hours and you can save up “power coins” to receive an extra pack.
