User reviews

Enjoyed at first glance and use!

I thought this would be a journal app only to share worries or anything on the heart. But this also creates a plan which is a cool concept. So far, so good. I wanted to leave a review because I didn’t see anything review from anyone else.

FAQ

What is Pragma's primary function?

Pragma is a CBT worry journal designed to help users manage anxiety and overthinking. It works by distinguishing factual concerns from fearful narratives, encouraging users to examine evidence and track the actual occurrence of their worries.

How does Pragma help identify cognitive distortions?

When you record a worry, Pragma identifies common cognitive distortions your brain might be using, such as mind-reading, catastrophizing, or rumination. It then prompts you to list evidence for and against your worry.

Does Pragma have ads?

No, Pragma is ad-free. The app is designed to be a quiet tool, opening when needed and closing when not, without advertisements or analytics that sell user data.

What is the 'Panic mode' in Pragma?

Panic mode allows you to speak your worries aloud if typing is difficult during moments of high anxiety. Pragma transcribes your words on-device and helps sort facts from anxieties in real-time as you talk.

How often is Pragma updated?

Pragma was last updated on April 29, 2026, with version 1.0.0. As a new release, users can expect ongoing updates to improve functionality and address any emerging needs.

What are the subscription options for Pragma Pro?

Pragma offers two subscription plans: Pragma Pro Weekly at $4.99 per week with a 3-day free trial, and Pragma Pro Monthly at $12.99 per month, also with a 3-day free trial.

Is Pragma suitable for younger users?

Pragma has an age rating of 17+, indicating it is intended for adult users. This is likely due to the mature nature of anxiety management and cognitive behavioral therapy principles.

Can Pragma replace therapy?

No, Pragma is not a replacement for professional therapy. It is a writing tool that uses CBT principles and should be treated as a second opinion, not a medical device or diagnosis.
