I love it
Reading with library login is broken
I can log in with my library account, but can no longer access the papers and magazines that I should be able to. Access works fine when using the web app, so I’m assuming the issue lies with the iOS app.
Good Interface but…
I’ve use the app for almost 10 years now. It provides me everyday reading on my favorite newspapers and magazines with 1 price which is great. However, since you have copyright restrictions for not allowing taking screenshots, would you please find a way for me to read foreign magazines with translation function? I know it’s fine for newspaper that you use select the text mode and choose to translate but it’s not possible for image base Japanese magazines. With today’s AI help, I challenge the developer to find a way to do it please!

No longer supports iPad Mini 2
I had been using this on an old iPad Mini 2 with my library log in. The current app version isn’t available, but the old version of the app worked fine. Alas, it’s now no longer possible to sign in to my library; the sign in pop-up is just a blank white page. Credit to the developers for supporting an old device for so long! It still works great on my more recent devices.

the comment section deletes comment if you accidentally touch outside of comment field while before submitting the comment.
The browser works fine but the apps have this glitch.

I get this free on North Yorkshire Libraries it’s brilliant, Readly changed their subscription plan to being only for one person and I came across this app on a leaflet while doing my volunteer shift in my local library, amazing!

Individual Issues and Followed Publications don’t Sync across Devices
I prefer reading a whole magazine/newspaper vs individual articles, and when I heard about this app, i thought it’d be a nice experience. It was, but only on one device. When I attempted to read the individual issues I bought on another device, the app requires me to buy them again. And there is no syncing your library across devices, nor is search function very effective as it seems to hide/show certain publications at random. When I contacted PressReader support on the issue, the rep seemed more oblivious than I was about how the app works. It’s appalling that such a popular platform has not had a simple library syncing feature figured out.

Killer iPad App
This app is perhaps the number one reason to get an iPad.
Money saver, time saver, mind expander
This app saves me so much money compared to what I used to spend on individual items, absolutely love the convenience of it, reading the papers first thing, and reading a range of magazines I wouldn’t normally purchase (I’m a New Scientist addict, never read it before I got the app)

UI issues for Library linking
I was trying to link my British council library account within Press Reader app, however, it never happens. After entering the credentials, it just shows the white screen and stuck there forever, poor UI.
