Scam Service
This is a scam run by Home Depot to get you to sign up. There is no work offered and they just want you to buy your materials from them in the hopes they’ll send you work. I have had my background check done by Lowes/Costco/Walmart for installer services and was never charged for the service. They charged $42+ dollars and label it as “background check” fees so you can’t dispute the charge once you realize it’s a scam. Buyer Beware!

Much Improved Stable and Reliable Now
Update: The issues mentioned in my previous review have been addressed. The app is now stable, works as expected, and notifications for new leads are coming through without any problems.

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with the Pro Referral app. Every time I try to log in, the app crashes and logs me out, even after reinstalling. On top of that, it doesn’t send notifications for new leads, which has caused missed opportunities and delayed responses to customers, ultimately affecting performance. Overall, the app is basically unusable in its current state and definitely needs to be fixed.

Not worth the time
This referral program is not worth the time. Out of the 50 referrals we have responded to, we have only had about 5 people respond to our voicemails or emails and have only secured 1 job. When I asked the referral program support if the leads are set only to one person they said they are sent out to many people in the program. If you are not the first one to respond within minutes of the request, you will not get a response.

Unprofessional
I have 44,000 points. No one explained to me how this app works. Apparently I’m not getting any leads because I did not know how to use the app. I will no longer be spending my money at Home Depot.
Great program terrible app in the last 3 months
This app used to work amazingly well! In the last three months it has been a complete brick. If Home Depot wants Pros to use this platform they must fix this app immediately.
Getting leads
I do love that you don’t have to pay for leads and it just comes out of points but the leads themselves are awful!! Home Depot sends the leads out to multiple people so even if you respond to it within 15 minutes the app could’ve sent it to someone way before you but you just lost 40 points because you accepted the lead. Also the leads themselves are hit or miss, I bet 20% of the ones I accept even answer the phone. Overall this app won’t keep you busy for leads and is often frustrating to deal with.

To build on the last review and the response from the developer that the new version addresses the bugs and crashes….. well with the new version they did change one thing…. Now you have to delete and redownload the app every time you want to log in. Extremely buggy app from day one and no signs of improvement. Seriously considering becoming a Lowe’s contractor just because of this app

Here is no sense to work with home depot, they give hvac le only for one big company and never to us
First of all they offer hvac repair to their customers, but this service not available for pros.

Crashes and closes unexpectedly
Worked fine for months now i open it and it closes on its own. Had me thinking I needed to update the app or the phone. Nope it’s a bug… has to be. Please fix ASAP we’re all losing money at this point us and you all because we can’t even refer our buddies to join in the the fun with the bugs and glitches no one is going to stick around.

Requires install/uninstall several times a day to work correctly. Shocked someone had not done something yet.
