Absolute garbage
Any company who uses this app should stop, especially if they are requiring paying customers to use it. Complete technical nightmare. Also, stopped my AppleCare play from working while installed on my phone. If you are a business consider this for virtual test taking, please don’t.

Very poor app
It kept on disconnecting while i was giving my naati test and i have to connect it again and again so, i lost my concentration and focus. I failed my test as i panicked due to this app failure. I lost my aud $814 due to this unstable app. Why don’t they remove this app?
Kept disconnecting
Awful app that kept disconnecting so I had to stop concentrating on my exam and scan the QR code again. This happened around d 20 times which is not at all acceptable and adds to the stressful exam conditions. I would not download if I had the choice but there was no other option if I wanted to have a remote exam

Couldn’t even get this to work and missed out on part of my examination 🤣

What a waste of a platform. Keeps disconnecting in between exam that is strictly to be finished within 20 minutes.

Horrible. This app disconnecting from server constantly caused me to fail a very expensive exam, no refunds. Beyond livid.
Honest review
Never do reviews but considering all the negative ones I thought I'd leave one. Had an exam which required me using this app, I was worried as all the negativity around it but when it come to doing the exam the app was very easy to use and I had no issues at all with it. Was easy to set up and all instructions were clear on what to do

Awful app, awful help
Tried on 4 separate phones, each showing a black video on screen with occasional frozen images. Contacted support twice but somehow the issue is always with me. I was told to find another phone by the first and a new laptop and internet connection by the second. That’s 8 months of revision and £1000+ down the drain. This is the only review I’ve left in my life.

App choked in the middle of my exam

Terrible would give no stars if I could
Sat an exam with this and the app disconnected from my phone.
I noticed very quickly due to a message popping up on my screen so I quickly repaired it.
Because of this I failed the exam because the conditions were not met.

Not reliable
I’m not sure why any organization would use such a faulty app. Taking a test for a certification is already nerve-wracking enough without having to worry about faulty technology.
I tried to take my WSET Level 1 Exam today and I followed the preparation instructions to a T. I updated to the latest version of this app before I took my exam. I was about 7 questions into the exam and I received a notification on my computer that the app disconnected from my phone.
I didn’t know what to do so I just exited out of my exam. I tried to start it over again but I couldn’t generate a new QR code from ProctorExam. I guess I’ll just have to try and take the test again once I hear back from them.
There has to be a better product than this in 2024.

Absolutely useless app!
I wasted a whole day trying to set up a proctored exam, and found this app confusing, slow, and the help “chat” was clueless in how to resolve issues.
Horrible app and website
Absolutely horrible app and website. It first off takes 40 min off of my exam time along with not allowing me to download a answer booklet. This was only for a mock but my god as this a bad bad experience. The person on line support was very understanding and nice but this does not make up for the fact that the website was horrible.

ProctorExam works well and the system is fine regarding the protection from cheating.
But it does not support my device (Chromebook) which was a bit annoying, looking for another device with Windows OS.

Laggy app that crashed
I had to use this garbage spying app for an exam. Despite taking two separate exams with the app in the exact same conditions, one exam was invalidated for absolutely no reason other than the phone didn’t sync properly to the desktop and so it had to be set up again. At this point one would assume that the reason they are recording your screen is to make sure the exam is not open, but whatever genius sits behind the video and watches you can’t use their brain cells to put two and two together. This adds to the stress and anxiety of having to resist an exam in the exact same conditions again and hope that this time the app doesn’t freeze and lag. Absolutely horrific piece of equipment and institutions should be ashamed to use it.

Terrible experience
I took a test this morning, the camera of the app always rotated 90 degrees to the right. I don’t know why. It made my test fulfill with uncertainty, as I am not quite sure whether the monitor is valid. Besides, the connection is also quite terrible, I push myself to finish the test very quickly for I am so worried about it disconnected the internet. Just before the beginning of the test, it get disconnected three times.

Once going it was fine
Had a few issues getting system up and running. I did the pre test demo to make sure it was all compatible but come to moment of the test I simply couldn’t get the thing to work. Very impressed that I received a phone call from the centre who could obviously see I was having some problems. Talked me through it and was soon up and running. Relatively easy from that point.

Worst App
This is a terrible App I never put reviews normally but this app is just useless and at a time when it should be 100% and no issues when taking an exam. I would give a zero if I could it has caused me so much upset and stress just trying to get in

They tried to blame internet connection - no issues full download and upload speed then when I finally got in after trying for over an hour and asking advisor in chat for help I could not take the exam as it was too late !!
