Awesome App

I wish I found this app sooner. So user friendly and straight forward. Makes a big difference when deciding on a project, even came in handy during an auction!

Great app

Easy to use, accurate, and very helpful. Highly recommended

Response from developer

Thank you for your positive review, we appreciate it.

Once good, now better to find and alternative

App worked fine, now it’s hidden behind a paywall

Works well, very helpful, bit disappointed there is now a fee to use

App used to be great! Bit disappointed to see I now have to signup and also pay if I want to use it more than 5 times. I guess money needs to be made and all 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi angeh87, an update since you wrote this — the app has been rebuilt from the ground up and the 5-calculation limit is gone. No cap. There's also far more in it now. It runs seven integrated calculators: upfront costs, borrowing power, rate sensitivity, extra repayments, first home owner grant, rental yield, and growth and equity. They share the one set of inputs, so every number lines up with the others. Every state, every kind of buyer. Worth another look.

Best Property Calculator App

Hands down worth the few bucks it costs to save me all the headache of working out my costs

If you’re worried about a few dollars on this app, then property might not be for you

Amazing app. Bless you PCAU

Response from developer

Thank you Peter for your kind words and positive feedback. It is very much appreciated.

Paid calculations

The business model for the app has changed, and now it's trying to charge you for calculations. This makes it useless for frequent use.

Hi AlexeyNikolayev, an update since you wrote this — the app has been rebuilt from the ground up and calculations are no longer capped or charged for. There's also considerably more in it now. It runs seven integrated calculators: upfront costs, borrowing power, rate sensitivity, extra repayments, first home owner grant, rental yield, and growth and equity. They share the one set of inputs, so the numbers line up with each other rather than sitting in isolation. Every state, every kind of buyer. Frequent use is exactly what it's built for now. Worth another look.

Price gouge

Charging app users for an otherwise freely accessible set of calculations on the web.
Would have rather you sought income via adds.

What a joke! The latest update also made the interface worse. Deleting this app.

Response from developer

Medsy99, an update since you wrote this — the app has been rebuilt from the ground up and the calculations are free and unlimited. It now runs seven integrated calculators: upfront costs, borrowing power, rate sensitivity, extra repayments, first home owner grant, rental yield, and growth and equity. The difference from the web calculators is that these share one set of inputs, so changing the purchase price updates every result at once rather than re-entering the same figures across six different sites. The interface has been completely redesigned too. Every state, every kind of buyer.

Charging for calculations LOL

Used it for years and it was good until they started charging for calculations.. why not just run ads if you want to get money out of the app. Deleted.

Hi Watermelon mane, an update since you wrote this — the app has been rebuilt from the ground up and calculations are free and unlimited again. No ads either. There's a lot more in it now as well. It runs seven integrated calculators: upfront costs, borrowing power, rate sensitivity, extra repayments, first home owner grant, rental yield, and growth and equity. They share one set of inputs, so changing the purchase price updates every result at once. If you were using it for years, it's worth another look.

Awesome app for mortgage brokers and customers

As a mortgage broker this app is super handy. Especially when I am out and about. Got my clients in to it, especially ones that are looking to purchase property. Has mad life so much easier when coming to speaking to customers when I am not in the office. All calculations on point!

Response from developer

Thank you Fershi Bear for your review. We are happy to hear that the app has worked for you and your clients. We appreciate your positive review.

Not free - needs to update and say in app purchases

You can only do 5 calculations before they want to charge a fee.

Calculations make no sense

The calculation under loan balance makes zero sense…calculates equity required (deposit + stamp duty) but then to calculate a loan balance subtracts the deposit (correct) but adds the equity??? How does that make sense? The loan balance should just be purchase price - deposit + LMI(if required), and there is no way to tell if the projected repayments are reflecting the correct calculation or this oddly calculated amount. Maybe that second column should be total cost and then have a third calculation for loan amount.

Also are you updating the stamp duties regularly?

Response from developer

Hello, thanks for your comments. When you select "equity" in the first page under the "Deposit" question, it means that you are borrowing the deposit amount. While you would generally have two different loans (one for the deposit and one for the balance) you still need to make repayments on both loans. For this reason, the app adds back the equity amount. If you select "cash" in the first page under the "Deposit" question, it means that you haven't taken out a loan for the deposit and are likely using saved cash. In this instance, the app will calculate the loan balance as per your comments in the review. I hope this clarifies the calculations. With regards to stamp duty, we are currently working on this and expect to have them updated shortly.

Error

When I try to put in the purchase price it changes from a $ to a € and then won’t let me put any numbers in.

Response from developer

Hello, check out the latest version of the app. Fresh design and updated calculations!

Stamp Duty is not up to dated…

In NSW, the stamp duty is not correct at all👎🏻. It is not consistent with the latest policy of the government and is not updated in time…🙁 No Good!

Can’t input numbers

Looks like a promising app, but it won’t allow me to enter any numbers in the loan dialogue box, the number keypad appears but doesn’t function. (iPhone7)

This app is stuck with new version can’t put the figures in bar crushed now

Not working properly

Broken?

This app was good, if a bit clunky, but it seems like the latest update has ruined it. It no longer calculates correctly and adds the deposit to the loan amount rather than subtracting it.

Response from developer

Hi Oknowgo, we have released a bug fix that should sort this out.

Best app ever!!!

One stop shop for everything you need to know about buying property. Updated with the latest information for all states. If your buying a property this is the only app you need.

Great

Absolutely fantastic app! So accurate and easy to use.
