Everything works fine, you can choose zone to clean, add it and name it, robot cleaner u6 so smart!!! Easy life!
Can’t connect my device
I wouldn’t even use the app if I didn’t have to but the only way I can turn off the stupid bright green light on my A8 purifier is through the app, and now the app won’t connect to my device all of a sudden. So fun!
Terrible 1.8.6 app available in USA. Updated app 2.3.0 is not available in USA
There are no English instructions on how to use the app and what each function button is expected to do. I see why the price was reduced. Support said to download newest app, but it is not available in the USA.
Does not connect
Every time I want to use the vacuum with the app I have to uninstall, reinstall, and pair again. It will not stay connected for more than a day. We have the correct Wi-Fi setup. If the vacuum didn’t cost so much, I’d dump it and buy something different.
This new app does work…
I’m able to login but it’s impossible to add my device (air fry). The old app was working perfectly, I was happy… but now with this app releases, I cannot use the old one anymore. I can’t use any of the smart features which I specifically bought this device for.
Worst App Ever
My vacuum is amazing. I love the power and job it does cleaning my floors. The app is only good for starting the vacuum. Please overhaul the app and I’ll give a better review.
Useless
I followed the directions, including the ubiquitous 2.4 gHz connection for the robot, and placed the robot less than a foot away from the router. I couldn’t get the robot connected to wifi no matter how many times I tried. There’s a disconnect somewhere, whether it’s the app or robot itself but because it won’t connect properly I’m unable to get the full use of the robot’s features.

The app doesn't allow me to enter a wifi network name.
Company philosophy
What sets a robot vacuum company apart from the rest is their software. This company has crossed the threshold of technology density. It has all the hardware it needs to be awesome. What it needs to set it apart from the competition is better software. Stop wasting time with cooking and recipes. Focus on software features your customers want. Your competition is doing it and that’s why they are taking more of the market share. If the next few app updates don’t make big improvements I am going to seriously reconsider owning this robot.

Useless. Can’t connect to the Air Fryer
30 minutes and still can’t connect to and setup the app to use the Air Fryer.
App never works
I have tried for months to get this robot fixed and the app never works, it always shows the server is down and that’s it. I would not recommend this app or company to anyone. I have tried to get information from them but that hasn’t led to anything either.
App fails to exploit the hardware
While I appreciate the LIDAR feature and saving of maps, I am extremely disappointed at the lack of room creation. Don’t even think of using the mopping feature as it will only leave streak marks across the floor even after pre-wetting the mopping attachment and setting the water flow control to high. On a positive note, it’s a decent vacuum.

App could be a lot better
The vacuum works great but the app could be a lot better. There’s no real instructions or any help on how to use the different options in the app for the vacuum. I contacted support for help and was told there is nothing to explain each option. Unfortunately, I’m returning the vacuum and going with a different brand all because of the app.

Not intuitive at all
It makes me so tired. I hate spending time in the wild hunting for clues to get things to work. My friend I just want to push the start button. Consider deleting this app until it is ready for release.
What’s the point?
I’ve had the M7 Pro for 3 weeks and can’t even log in to the app half the time and I’ve NEVER been able to connect my vacuum to it. It’s either a server error or it says the WiFi can’t connect every time. I’m using my 2.4 internet, what else can I do? This app needs some serious fixes.
App is almost decent but they seem to be working on it.
I don’t lose hope that they keep improving the obvious shortcomings of the app, room division , room selection and map saving .
The product is great and it’s worth the dealing with the app, but the app is a long way from being ideal

App not binding
App will not complete binding yet vac shows up on my wifi network. Customer service seems non existent, will return vac today specifically because of this app not working and no support. What a waste of time.
App needs to fix bugs
The app is barely OK, it will get you running but the app IS NOT open to much customizations for your home. Partitioning of area does not work well, as the app may only allow to split into two areas. Some times keep out zones disappear. Many times changes don’t take (black circle of death) and you have cancel out to get back to the main menu. Sometimes features are not available and a message appears “Try back later”. You can waste a lot of time trying to set things up and the app doesn’t accept them or will not allow you to change anything.

One word “BAD”
Setting up the WiFi for the A8 Air Purifier is NOT intuitive as they claim. I am tech-savvy but this thing is just that bad. Why is it not simple Bluetooth connectivity, why does it need to be an insecure access point? And I’d it is supposed to be so intuitive why does it only want 4G connectivity? I am considering a return of this unit and submitting a bad review on all platforms. That is how upset this thing made me. I will try their “so called” great support to see why this is so difficult to set up. Just BAD!!!

Partially works
The app works reasonably well for me as a way to start and stop the vacuum. The mapping feature doesn’t work at all for a few different reasons. First, the vacuum’s sense of location is very poor, sometimes it thinks it is making progress across a room when in fact it’s cleaning the same strip over and over. It even thinks a straight wall has huge holes in it leading to long skinny hallways. And lastly, the app doesn’t remember any of the mapping it did in previous runs, sometimes even during a single run the map is erased or jumbled.
