A good app for parents

I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, so I downloaded Protego GPS for the Hogwarts vibe… but I ended up staying because now I can always see where my child is. Even if they’re “in the Forbidden Forest,” I don’t panic anymore — I just open the map.

Not as Described

I did the free trial because this is an absolute dream for a Potter family - however nothing is as advertised- there isn’t a general settings , like in the creator and I have limited access to anything - I can only create a place by knowing its address , map and profile and that’s it - and even that is very limited - cannot ad your own pictures like the ads show. It’s a REALLY cool idea - and would definitely pay for this - but it doesn’t show where they go or alerts like it says - idk what these quests are because they’re not on there - Anyway - super cute idea but for being magically themed - could be way better. Cancelling unfortunately-

You're right about alerts: that feature isn't live in the app yet — it's still in development — and I'm sorry that wasn't clearer up front. On not seeing where your family goes: that part does work, but it usually means the other person never finished joining your family, and that connection step is more confusing than it should be right now (we're actively redesigning it). The version you tried (1.9) is also several updates behind where we are today. We'd really love the chance to make this right for you personally — if you drop us a message through the in-app support, we'll get you properly set up and take good care of you. Thank you for seeing the magic in the idea; we're working hard to deserve it.

Fun alternative to Life360

I’m a Potterhead and love the application. I’ve found a few items that aren’t working exactly correct, but overall it’s a great experience. I wish this was also ported over to Android, as I have one child with an Android phone, unfortunately it’s the one I wanted the app for, so I won’t be keeping it (reason for the -1 star).
