Thank you for such thoughtful feedback — you're exactly the family we built Protego for, and it stings that it fell short. You're right about alerts: that feature isn't live in the app yet — it's still in development — and I'm sorry that wasn't clearer up front. On not seeing where your family goes: that part does work, but it usually means the other person never finished joining your family, and that connection step is more confusing than it should be right now (we're actively redesigning it). The version you tried (1.9) is also several updates behind where we are today. We'd really love the chance to make this right for you personally — if you drop us a message through the in-app support, we'll get you properly set up and take good care of you. Thank you for seeing the magic in the idea; we're working hard to deserve it.
